“Sarah and Allen were amazing hosts! We just wanted to take a moment to thank them for sharing their beautiful cottage with us. From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home — warm, welcoming, and filled with such authentic Irish charm.Their lovely St. Patrick's Cottage made our time in Downpatrick especially meaningful, giving us the perfect place to slow down, relax, and simply enjoy being together as a family. “A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

“Patrick is an amazing host with easy instructions to check in and out. Red Robin cottage was an absolute delight and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!”

The host was super helpful with anything we needed and the cottage is spotless. The parking was tight, but there are lots nearby if you aren’t comfortable with the curb parking. For future travelers from the arid American West, Europeans don’t use a top sheet and regulate their inner temperatures different...
