Excellent location

This property was excellent value for money and the owner, Marie-Agnes was very attentive. She left us some excellent French dishes and a bottle of wine on arrival. Would recommend for a couple, although there are bunks in the second bedroom should a family wish to stay.

A most wonderful stay in beautiful Cotignac!

L'Appart was the best VRBO place we've ever stayed! The apartment is spacious, extremely comfortable and has everything you might possibly want or need. Our host, Marie-Agnes, provided a most delicious savory meal to welcome us on our arrival. She made herself available during our stay to answer any questions, and it is clearly important to her that those staying in L'Appart have the best Cotignac experience possible...and we did. Lovely host, lovely apartment and lovely village - a stay we'll always remember!

Schöne Wohnung zentral im Dorf

Die Lage im Dorf ist sehr zentral und die Begrüßung mit selbstgemachten Vorspeisen sowie die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin sehr nett. Wir konnten zum Apero im Freien sitzen und auch sonst war die Wohnung für unsere 5-köpfige Familie groß genug. Einzig das Bad ist ein bischen klein, aber das ist bei solchen Wohnungen oft so. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für den Aufenthalt und zum Kochen braucht. Einzig die Sauberkeit der Räume könnte etwas besser sein. In Summe aber eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Fantastique!!

L'APPART is an outstanding apartment for a long-term stay. My husband and I lived here for 6 weeks (mid-September through end of October) and enjoyed every moment. The apartment itself is large, very comfortable and incredibly well-equipped with literally everything provided, including changed linens throughout our stay, and an extremely well-equipped kitchen. (We ate in most meals.) The location is wonderful for living in the village, as well as exploring the surrounding area, with a wonderful bakery just steps away and restaurants in the Place de la Mairie and Cours Gambetta very close (especially recommending new restaurants Jeanot and Picotte Provence). As others have said, and we want to echo with great enthusiasm: we are deeply appreciative of Marie-Agnes's communications, her welcome - including the very generous homemade appetizers of tarts and pasta salad and wine - her hospitality throughout our entire stay, and her genuine care for us and our needs. She was never more than an email away and resolved any unusual matter immediately, even if it meant sending over a friend when she was not in the village herself. We have experienced many rental hosts and Marie-Agnes is the very, very best! You will not meet a host who is more authentically kind and attentive. We are desperate to return.

Notre séjour a été magnifique. Nous sommes une famille avec 3 enfants et Marie-Agnès avait pensé à chaque détail. Marie Agnès était la meilleure propriétaire que nous ayons jamais eu en France. La réalité, c'est encore mieux que les photos. Tout simplement parfait. L'appartement est superb et dispose de tous les petits détails qui vous font sentir comme à la maison. Merci Marie-Agnes Our stay was simply wonderful. we are a family with 3 kids and Marie-Agnes had thought of every detail. Marie Agnes was the best d owner we have ever had in France. The reality is even better than the pictures. Simply perfect. The apartment is amazing and has all the small details that make you feel at home. We strongly recommend it. thanks Marie-Agnes.

Cotignac

Marie Agnes’ place was perfect for our stay in Cotignac. We chose the location to be close to Gorge du Verdon. Sadly, the place was closed during our stay. Marie Agnes made us welcome dishes on our first night, which were wonderful. Her apartment was very clean and well stocked. The only thing we would recommend is to have a holder for the shower head in the bathroom to make it easier to shower. Her place has an air conditioning in the living room, but not the bedrooms. However, at nights, the air seemed cool and tolerable on hot days in the summer. I would highly recommend her place for those wishing to stay in Cotignac.

Tout est inclus, formidable!

Tout d’abord, un grand merci à Marie Agnès qui nous a préparé de bons petits plats pour notre arrivée ( + eau fraîche et rosé). Le logement est très bien situé et tout est vraiment inclus, rien ne manque, c’est « comme à la maison ».

Schöne zentrale Wohnung gleich am Rathausplatz

Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit vielen schönen Details. Die Lage ist top, super zentral, neben einer Baulücke und nur eine Minute zum Rathausplatz. Eine kleine Bäckerei ist gleich um die Ecke, am Rathaus ein sehr schönes kleines Restaurant abseits der Touristen, die sich am Cours Gambetta konzentrieren. Fahren morgens die ersten Fahrzeuge durch die engen Gassen, kann man die gut isolierten Fenster schließen, und dann ist es wirklich sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, ökologische Seifen, Kochutensilien, schönes Geschirr und Besteck, alles perfekt! Das Bad ist klein, war für uns aber völlig ausreichend. Marie- Agnès ist eine sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeberin. Zur Begrüßung hat sie zwei Quiches und einen Nudelsalat, Brot uns Wein vorbereitet, das war ein sehr schönes Willkommensgeschenk! Sie war immer erreichbar und hat sich bei Fragen sofort um alles gekümmert. Für die Anreise mit dem Auto empfiehlt es sich, den Treffpunkt "Vignerons de Cotignac" ins Navi einzugeben, er ist nicht, wie wir angenommen hatten, direkt neben der Ferienwohnung. Dort kann man dann auch sein Auto parken. Alles in allem ist die Wohnung sehr zu empfehlen, wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

Great Host

A very warm welcome with tarts, bread and wine left for us after a long day's travel. The host was very helpful and available at all times. Excellent accommodation with a great location just two minutes from the high street. Would thoroughly recommend.

Superbe location

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans les Gorges du Verdon. Notre location située à Cotignac, dans un superbe appartement tout confort où nous n'avons manqué de rien. Un très bel accueil et une propriétaire à l'écoute et disponible. Le village est très animé et magnifique à proximité des Gorges et d'autres lieux tels que Saint Tropez où Saint Raphaël. Autant dire que nous recommandons vivement cette location où nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci encore.

Staying in Cotignac

Cotignac is a truly charming village and our stay at this apartment was a pleasure. It was clean and tidy and well equipped. When we arrived the owner, who is lovely and helpful, had two homemade tarts and a pasta dish ready for us which was so appreciated after a flight from Canada. From the apartment we could tour the little villages or reach the main highways easily and within 1 - 2 hours be at many of the major tourist destinations in Provence. Be aware, if you are driving, that Cotignac is an old village and the streets are narrow and winding but certainly manageable. Street parking available although we left our car in a car park that was a short walk away. All in all a lovely spot to stay!

Wonderful stay in charming Cotignac

This is a fantastic apartment right in the center of charming Cotignac. Very clean and very well equipped with quality tableware, appliances, bed linens and all the little necessities (Nespresso pods, laundry/dishwasher detergent, aluminum foil, etc) provided. The Apartment is in an ancient building, but everything inside is modern and functions very well including an excellent AC unit which we rarely needed. My spouse and I enjoyed our one week stay here especially the very warm welcome by Marie Agnès who took her time to show us where everything was in the apartment, left us a bottle of the excellent local wine, and baked us two delicious tarts. We would love to come back.

Very comfortable

Very comfortable bed, well-supplied kitchen, good shower...everything you need in the rental. Very cordial host, who left us some lovely tartes for snack. Good variety of restaurants in the village. Be sure to visit the Cotignac wine-tasting beside the big parking lot at the edge of the village. Very good wines!

Wunderschöne Tage in Cotignac

Es war genau, was wir suchten und erhofften: ein super Appartement quasi im Zentrum des örtlichen Geschehens, alle Annehmlichkeiten gleich um die Ecke. Marie-Agnes ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, die sich intensiv in die Wünsche und Bedürfnisse ihrer Gäste hineinversetzen kann: es fehlte uns praktisch an nichts im Appartement, und wir konnten unsere "für-den-Fall-dass-" mitgebrachten Utensilien getrost im Koffer lassen. Zum Empfang wurden wir mit einigen leckeren selbst gebackenen Tartes und Obst verwöhnt. Die Lage ist sowohl im Hinblick auf die Landschaft Provence Verte als auch innerhalb des athmosphärisch-gemütlichen Ortes Cotignac hervorragend, viele recht nahe gelegene Ausflugsziele und Märkte. Selbst eine Fahrt nach Toulon und/oder Marseille ist ein angenehmer Tagesausflug. Es war immer wieder ein wunderschönes Erlebnis, morgens nach dem Aufstehen die Fensterläden zurückzuklappen und den Blick in und über die Gassen des Ortes zu geniessen. Wer also nicht unbedingt ein Ferienhaus auf dem Land mit Garten und Swimmingpool braucht sondern das Leben unmittelbar gerne um sich spürt, der ist hier goldrichtig. Es wird wohl nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt dort gewesen sein!!

Exactly how I imagined in this olde part of France

Very well situated in this lovely old town . A minutes amble to the quaint shops, bars & restaurants. Marie-Angus made us so welcome, even meeting us to show us the way!. Kindly leaving us pies, bread & WINE in her fridge!

L'appartement est bien, mais la chambre avec 3 lits surperposés est petite et serait convenable que pour des enfants. C'était difficille pour 3 dames de 60 ans. Marie-Agnès nous a laissé un bon répas de bienvenue!

Close to the Main Street of lovely Cotignac

House is lovely and very close to everything in town. Great welcome with lovely home made pies waiting for us. Weather was very hot during our stay in and outside. Had to sit by Cotignac fountain to keep cool
