Perfect mountain cabin

I spent three weeks searching for the perfect mountain cabin to spend my 40th birthday with my wife and I finally found it in this property. If you’re searching for any of the following, this is your place: secluded, riverside, hot tub, hammock, nature, fire pit, cabin, grill. Not only does it check all those boxes it’s 5 minutes from Estes Park. Check in and check out were flawless. Other than some firewood, everything you need is provided (even some basic spices and coffee!).

Cabin Stay

Cabin stay was good. It is a small cabin with very little for comfort. Two chairs in living room and no air conditioning in cabin. The summers days are hot even though the evenings cool down. The view was beautiful and the hot tub was a nice addition for the stay.

Amazing location! Close to Estes Park but not in town. Our cabin was small but sufficient for us. Being on the river was great and very peaceful! The host was very helpful!

Beautiful/Relaxing trip on the water

The property is incredible! If you are looking for peace and quiet on the river this is the place. Hammock, fire pit, sun, water, wildlife viewing, close proximity to town, what else do you need??

Great location

It was a little cabin right on the river! Such a great location and so private. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. It was also so close to lots of different hikes and an easy drive to downtown! Would definitely come back.

As the last time, fantastic!

If you like seclusion, you will love this! It is only a couple of minutes to town, so getting dinner or supplies is a breeze. It is small but has all the amenities you would expect in a cabin. Bedroom, kitchen and living room. It used to have a very small (and creaky) bed, but that is taken care of with a new bed and frame and was very comfortable. It is near a road and a bunch of other cabins, BUT, because of the way it is situated, it feels like you are all alone. You can't see or hear anyone else. Just wonderful and relaxing. FYI, this is the second time we stayed here and will stay again!

BEAUTIFUL & CLEAN!!

This is the perfect spot for a getaway. We just needed to get out of town for a few days and we couldn't have picked a better spot. Cute little place with so many options of comfort. We loved that we could sit on the porch in the hot tub or at the table, at the fire pit down by the river or swing in the hammock. We had everything we needed for a peaceful stay along with the greeting of the local wildlife. Our hosts, Bethany and Steve made our stay carefree and perfect! I will and already have, recommended this wonderful gem! Thank you for the affordable, peaceful perfect stay!

Best way to remember our 10 year anniversary

Perfect little cabin, right by the river- with full privacy. Highly recommend this place to anyone needing nature. This was the perfect way to spend our ten year anniversary. We will be visiting again.

Oh, we’ll be back.

Amazing energy at this location. Felt like we were in our own little world here. We loved being able to relax in the hot tub every night. The most perfect and quaint getaway cabin. I enjoyed that we sat right on top of the river. We brought extra blankets for warmth but the cabin has extra blankets and a heater that kicks on in the main space well. We went to Alberta Falls which was about a 25 minute drive from the cabin. It was snowing when we arrived, which made some magical winter moments. There’s a lot of charm in this cabin. We’ll be returning for another romantic getaway in April! Can’t wait to go back. Perhaps we’ll try a bigger cabin with dripping springs next time!

Clean & small

This cabin was clean, equipped for cooking, and very small. The outdoor area has a nice hot tub, high table & chairs, and a comfy hammock. You will hear road noise as you sit on the porch overlooking the river. This is a pet friendly stay but I wouldn’t bring a big dog since there is very limited grass area.

I did not like that we were right next to the road. I thought it was more off the beaten path. However, it was all fenced in for optimal privacy and a river was tight there. We loved the hot tub. So overall we did really like it

Little things matter

The Pictures online do not accurately portray the smallness of the cabin. Highlight of trip would have been to sit by the fire outside near the river. However, the dilapidated condition of the chairs made the experience dangerous.

Process went well. This cabin is near the highway so there can be road noise. The river does drown out much of it. Had everything we needed. I loved the hammock.
