Cream City

Cream city point cottage is an excellent place to unwind. The views are amazing and the place is very comfortable. I would love to stay here again in the future.

Fantastic

This cottage was adorable, had comfy beds, was very clean and has amazing views. They also had a small guest book to share everyone’s experiences, it was a welcoming touch.

Secluded

Very nice, clean and secluded cabin. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks. Nicely stocked kitchen and plenty of linens. Host was great about responding to any questions we had.

Peaceful, quiet, and relaxing

A wonderful getaway location for those who seek a serene setting and beautiful views. Open windows, Huron breezes and the soft sounds of waves were just the ticket to a good night's sleep. The rocky beach was great for fossil hunting, and we enjoyed the kayaks before cooling off for a swim.

Nice cabin with a great view of the lake. The little sitting deck by the lake was great to enjoy the view and watch the water. We loved the kayaks. The furniture could for sure use some updating but overall nice cabin

Just keeps getting better

We’ve stayed at this property 3 times and every time has been great. It seems that the owners really put love and care into the upgrades of this house over the years and it doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated. We look forward to coming back again!

Fantastic house and location! WOW

Loved Cream City Cottage. This house was perfect for a little getaway with 4 adult children (in their 20s). Kayaks were handy and right on the water. Water was clean and BEAUTIFUL. Grilled some burgers and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Each star was visible in the clear skies w no city lights ANYWHERE AROUND. Would stay here again, loved it.

Comfortable Stay

This is a comfortable cabin, and it met all of our needs. The outdoor spaces were our favorite,-views, deck, fire pit, hammock, and sunsets were terrific. Also, local coffee was delicious and appreciated. Furnishings, linens and bathroom could use some updating, no a/c here, so just be aware of that if you're making the trip in warmer weather. Water is as others have said, quite hard, so bring plenty of drinking water. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

A great time

Really loved the property and location-very private and a beautiful spot. Enjoyed the deck, having a fire, and the great views. Great family time and enjoyed going in to town. Absolutely gorgeous sunsets! Property could have been a little cleaner. Some dirt, dog hair, cobwebs. Nothing that would keep us away, but would have expected it to be cleaner. Definitely had to bring our own water.

Came up to enjoy the off road trails with our two dogs. Cabin was great, beautiful location. Loved watching the freighters pass especially at night. Wood stove inside was amazeballs as it was slightly chilly. Only down side was the water smelled like sulfur. However nothing could dampen our spirits this weekend as I proposed to my girlfriend on the deck by the beach and she said yes!!!! We were both covered in mud from the trails which made it even more perfect!!!

Beautiful and relaxing

Property was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Just what we needed. We enjoyed the kayaks, sitting on the deck and walking on the beach. Definitely looking forward to coming back again. Only advice I can give to other’s is make sure you bring plenty of water for drinking and to cook with. The well water in the house smells pretty awful. I would assume a water softener with the appropriate salt would fix this issue. I

Beautiful & secluded Cabin!!

My family chose this place for a lakefront family vacation away from the craziness of life and the HEAT!! The kayaks were used EVERY day, the cabin fit us all just perfectly and the island was an amazing place to get away to. Beautiful weather, watched the freighters, watched the pair of loons on the lake and saw a ton of deer! We couldnt have asked for a better place! We were worried about no A/C but we didn't need it!!! The nights were cool and the days were gorgeous. The cabin has nice little touches and we used the firepit together, used the telescopes and got some nice moon views and the beds were comfy and perfect. We did bring drinking water but the well water wasn't that bad at all. Thank you for such an amazing time, we plan to return!!

Our Family vacation

The Cabin had everything we needed . The views were awesome we felt we had the island all to ourselves even though there were neighbors. Close to trails and watching the freighters never got old. Look forward to future stays
