Cabin on Dairy Farm - Near Ark - Feed Grain to Calves and Goats

  • Welcome to Alpine Hills Swiss Cabin in Dry Ridge. If you love the outdoors, bring your family for a relaxing stay in our brand NEW country cabin. We are located on a 250 acre dairy and pumpkin farm. The house is surrounded by beautiful farmland with roaming beef and dairy cows. Sit on our front porch or at our fire pit and watch the amazing sunset. We are only 18 min. from the Ark and 40 min. from the Creation Museum.
    We provide free tickets for our guests to Pumpkin Ridge during our Country Pumpkins Fall Festival. September 7th thru October 31st.

    Sleeping Arrangements Include:
    Main Floor Bedroom with Queen Bed
    1 Full Bed and 1 Twin Bed in the Loft

    Enjoy our large fire pit area which is shared with one other nearby vacation rental home on our property. Please bring your own wood and fire starting supplies.

    Things to do in Northern Kentucky: The Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, Kentucky Horse Park, Turfway Park (horse racing), horse farm tours, Big Bone Lick State Park, Williamstown Lake, Boltz Lake, shopping, and dining. We are just 45 minutes from Cincinnati, OH where you can enjoy Reds games, Bengals games, Cincinnati Cyclones Hockey, the Cincinnati Zoo, the Newport Aquarium, Coney Island, Riverbend Music Center, Cincinnati Museum Center, shopping, and dining experiences.

This cabin was quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed! I really enjoyed sitting by the fire at night and having my morning coffee listening to the birds and cows. We will definitely book with you again!

This was the perfect place for our stay - close to both the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. Clean, quiet, and peaceful. Perfect to unwind after a long day of walking. Check-in was easy and host communication was prompt. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while visiting the area to see the Ark!! It was cozy and very clean! The views were wonderful!! Our children absolutely loved getting to visit the baby cows and baby goats!!! Would highly recommend this place!!

One of the cleanest places we ever stayed. It had a lot of charm and character and felt homey. My kids enjoyed seeing the cows on the property. Although it was small, it was the perfect size for the four of us. My kids also loved the loft and having their own space away from home!

We loved our stay! The cabin was super clean and the communication with the property owner was easy. The kids loved the cows and the goats! It was a very low-key and restful trip for our family!

We loved the cabin. Our 2 grand kids 10 and 12 could play and they loved the little park with the giant slides. Only issue was finding tge driveway to get to the cabin. My Google Maps took me to a little farm across the street, where an older and very friendly lady guided me to the entrance for the cabins.

What a gem of a place! Everything was fresh and new! We loved the peaceful setting and close proximity to the Ark Encounter. Debra was a wonderful host, and easy to get hold of. Highly recommended!
