Everything was exactly as described. The handbook was very helpful and informative, especially handy to refer back if we had questions. Our host was very friendly, the cabin was clean and well-prepared, and we had everything we needed. My kids loved playing outside on the property with plenty of room to run after traveling. If we come back to visit the Ark we will definitely stay here again if available!

We enjoyed our “road trip get away” to Dry Ridge. Comfortable bed, cozy cabin. We felt privileged to see two ground hogs as we arrived. Also plenty deer at a distance and some rabbits. Grab a club sandwich from Beans Cafe. Visited the Ark Encounter. We hope to stay again some time.

it was a really nice cabin very clean and put together; it was a bit difficult to get in at first but after that it was fine, very close to the ark which is why we stayed wi-fi was easy to connect. 10/10 would come again

Ark Encounter stay

My mom, sisters and I stayed at Johnathan's place the evening prior to visiting the Ark Encounter. His place was located less than 10 minutes from the Ark and just a couple minutes from area restaurants. Johnathan's cabin had everything we needed. He was very kind and accomodating.

Sister’s trip

This little cabin was perfect for my sisters and myself. It is quiet and peaceful. The owners and family were so sweet and kind. Well stocked and very clean. Highly recommended if you need a place to relax and unwind. Just minutes from the Ark Encounter.

Jonathan the owner was super nice and helpful. The property was nice and we could see the improvements that were and are being made. The cabin was a little smaller than I expected, but nice. We could not use the loft for the grandsons which made everything tighter. The loft had ants on the ceiling. I called Jonathan and he did come and spray but the ants did remain. We did have a nice visit.

It's private and quaint. However, I don't advise seniors to use the loft. It is really low and dangerous for elderly due to having to climb a later; otherwise, it is fine for children or young adults. Jonathan was super helpful in making sure the directions were clear and concise. He also was available if we had problems. I would recommend this cabin.
