Simply The Best!

Exceeded our expectations in every way. The grounds - immaculate. Private and secluded yet convenient to everything. The amenities were excellent! Beautiful dishes, linen napkins and flatware. Appliances were state of the art. All of the bed linens were high-end, including the extra blankets, throws and comforters. Anyone will be nothing less than impressed staying at this all around gorgeous property. My husband and I have stayed in the finest of properties all over the world. “Annabel Lee” is THE PLACE TO BE!

Wonderful visit to Dubuque

We absolutely loved our stay at the farm. Everything was excellent! The photos on the listing were great but it was even better in person. The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and extremely responsive. The game room was perfect for our kids and the property was gorgeous and wonderful for relaxing and exploring. The barn was exquisitely decorated, there was plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable, and the kitchen was top tier for preparing meals. The seating and beds were also very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Magical property in Dubuque

My wife and 2 young kids (4 and 7) stayed here for the weekend while in town for family get together and this property is absolutely amazing. The barn is clean, gorgeous, fitted with modern amenities and despite it's large size cozy and warm. The surrounding property is stunningly beautiful surrounded by woods with a rural feel although very close to town (and to my wife's brother's home). The owners (who manage and built the barn) are gracious and were helpful when we had a special request. We'll definitely be back at our next trip to Dubuque and if you're going to Dubuque - this is the place to stay. It's like no other short term rental I've ever experienced (in the most positive possible way).

Amazing Experience

My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway that was unique, luxurious and dog friendly. The Annabel Lee Barn met these expectations and more. The hosts clearly poured their hearts into the build and it shows. We just feel fortunate that we were able to experience it ourselves and can’t wait to visit it again in the future.

Sisters Weekend

Such a great time getting together with my sisters. We worked a little, walked a little, wined and dined a great deal, but just bonding in Annabel Lee's beautiful place was a great place to unwind. The books they put together to show how the project came into being, we must have looked at those 3 or 4 times. Perfect chilled night was calling for a bonfire, our last night, it was delightful with the music carrying outside.. Thanks for a special long weekend.

5 Star Experience

We travel a lot and this was a definite 5 Star Experience. Great location for outodoor activities, restaurants and river experiences. The property is absolutley amazing and the amentities extradorinary from Game Room, to Music System to the hospitality. Hopefully at some point Dubuque will make this into an event center for weddings as this would be the ultimate. for now, if you have a chance to book for the best Vrbo experience for you and your spouse or better yet your family gathering, DO IT! Just not on the weekends I want we want to go :)
