“Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!”

“House is nicely appointed. Good views of lake particularly during the morning sunrise. Fairly steep walk down to lake. Can be slippery after rain. However, it’s beautiful. Be aware that the road into the property is fairly narrow and dirt and spots are muddy if wet, but not in any way impassable, just rustic. However, it would be difficult to bring a large boat onto the property and be able to turn around or maneuver it. You’d be better off launching from Pike Hole Resort or Cass Lake and...
