“Beautiful property in a fantastic location, can't rate highly enough, brilliant base to head off exploring yet so welcoming and peaceful. All the practical things you need set in a majestic building with so much history. Within 10 mins of wick for the essentials, pubs, supermarkets, petrol, but also within 15 mins of Thurso and the islands ferry and of course John o'grotes. The hosts also added so many extra little elements, making it feel like home from home. ”

“Great property. Cosy, warm and clean. Superb base to explore the NC500. Highly recommend Dunnet head, Bettyhill. Day trip to orkney and the north coast vistor centre in Thurso. Great communication from Alan and Jen so very helpful.”

“Ground floor bedroom cannot be aired, beautiful en suite bathroom, also cannot be aired, a shame because the views are stunning and the kitchen/dinner wonderful. We found the access road difficult.”

“Conveniently located on the NC500. Immaculate little cottage overlooking the sea. Excellent amenities. Perfectly located to explore numerous local golf courses. Host Katya very helpful. Spent sunny evenings sipping wine and looking at the horizon. Beautiful.”

“Sehr schönes Haus in toller umgebung. Alles was man benötigt ist vorhanden. Einzig die Straße die zum Haus führt ist nicht sonderlich gut. Viele Schlaglöcher, also sehr langsam fahren und dann ist auch das OK ;-) ”
