“Gorgeous & Quiet river! Lots of fish (daughter was happy to catch walleye, rock, small & large mouth bass). Worms worked best but lures worked too. Loved the canoes & swimming right off of dock. Host went above and beyond by leaving a smore’s kit and firewood. Communication and ease was excellent. Neighbours are close but tree covered and didn’t hear them at all. “What a wonderful place! As all guests have noted, the cottage is extremely comfortable and beautiful. On cold winter days the wood stove (and plentifully supplied wood) keeps the house cosy, and the vast glass front to the cottage allows one to feel you are sitting in the woods. “Staying at the River Done was a truly awesome experience. Communication was great, if we needed anything a quick text helped us with anything we needed.
