Cálido y cómodo, el bach está bien aislado, bien climatizado y tiene una cocina moderna. Estás a solo 2 minutos a pie de una de las playas más hermosas de Nueva Zelanda y a 15 minutos en automóvil del centro de Dunedin. Puede disfrutar de una barbacoa en la terraza o caminar 5 minutos hasta llegar a una excelente tienda de fish & chips. Se admiten mascotas y la propiedad está bien cercada, por lo que su perro estará seguro para deambular por el césped.

La playa con vista al mar es uno de los secretos mejor guardados de Dunedin. Vivimos en Dunedin durante 14 años antes de que lo descubriéramos en 2004 y desde entonces vivimos aquí. Siete kilómetros de hermosa arena blanca a solo 15 minutos en automóvil del centro de Dunedin. El clima suele ser mejor que en la ciudad, con una temperatura promedio de 2 grados más cálida. La playa suele estar bastante desierta, así que no te sorprendas si eres el único humano a la vista. Si tiene suerte, puede conocer a otros visitantes, ya que a menudo vemos lobos marinos en la playa y lobos marinos y pingüinos en las rocas cerca de Brighton.

Great spot near the beach

Very comfortable Bach but requires a car to access shops, groceries and Dunedin attractions.The bathrooms and kitchen were modern and there was plenty of warm bedding provided.The beach is close by and very pretty.

STUNNING LOCATION!

This Bach is located across the street from a beautiful beach with stunning views! It is close enough to town (Dunedin, Green Island, Mosgiel) for food/supplies. Conveniently located not far from Otago Peninsula and lovely walking trails. It is peaceful and the beach was virtually deserted and serene…a lovely walk in mornings and evenings! The hosts are fabulous people and very responsive to any questions. Do plan on bringing most necessities for cooking. They provide basics and the kitchen is well stocked. From a price/value standpoint this is a gem!

Lovely stay in Brighton

We were so impressed with the cottage, which had two queen-size beds and twin beds in a third bedroom and two great bathrooms. The showers were great, with really good pressure. One bathroom had a washing machine and a separate dryer, which we found very useful. There was also a good-sized lounge, dining room and an excellent kitchen, though we did have a bit of a fight with the stovetop. I guess you have to get used to its controls. There was luxurious feeling carpet throughout. There was also an off-road parking spot and a nice outside seating area. What made this even more amazing was that only three weeks before the lounge and kitchen area was flooded. It was brilliant that Heather and Stan managed to have all the work done including new carpet, wallboards, painting and kitchen cupboards. You would never know to look at it that it had been so damaged such a short time ago. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Dunedin. There is still more to see and do, so we need to return soon. Stan and Heather communicated quickly and kept us up to date with progress in the house.

A+++ home away from home!

We were blown away by this pleasant little surprise property! Six of us stayed comfortably for three nights. Plenty of space for all of us and the two bathrooms were such a bonus, meaning we didn't have to stagger showers after each other. With all things needed for travelling with kids, it made the trip so much easier! It was only a short drive to the city, which was perfect.

Great spot

The Classic Kiwi Batch was clean, comfortable and very warm for our winter stay. Ocean View is a great spot, nice and quiet with easy access to the city and surrounds. Would love to return to see the upgrades that were commencing right after we left.

Wish it was closer to home.

What an absolutely treat! An amazing getaway. The house was so incredibly well set up and comfortable, we couldn't have wanted for more and the best part we could take our fur baby also. I'd highly recommend this to anyone, you won't regret booking the Bach.

Perfect for a small family

Small and cozy stay in a seaside town 15 mins from Dunedin. Flat lawn fully fenced, great for backyard cricket/rugby with the kids. Bedding good but sheets a bit crinkly/noisy for us, we prefer cotton for feel/quietness but that's just our preference. Would def stay again!

Beautiful location, great value

Loved this bach. Excellent comms with the lovely owners. Liked the location right across the beach, perfect for sunsets and sunrises. Perfect for kids as it was fully fenced. Great value everything we needed. Thanks for having us!
