  • The Rainbow River Bungalows is the perfect destination for a fun and restful getaway! Stay in one of our private units and have all the conveniences of an outdoor paradise just outside your door! Enjoy FREE access to the Rainbow River via the Marion County KP Hole Boat Ramp, perfect for launching your boat or kayak. Our community center has a huge chess and Connect Four boards, so you can challenge yourself or your friends. Grill the perfect dinner on our outdoor grills or roast some S`mores by the fire! Dogs and kids will love the dog walking area and public garden beds. Take a leisurely walk and enjoy hammocks for a great afternoon of relaxation. Bungalow F is a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom open floor plan unit with an inviting front deck seating area. Get ready for an unforgettable getaway when you choose the Rainbow River Bungalows!
    This is a friendly community of other vacationers just like you.
    *Please be respectful of common quiet hours of 8pm-8am.
    *Please keep dogs leashed and clean up after them.
    *Please no open flames in the units
    *Please no parties
    *Please no smoking (including vaping) or use use of illegal substances.
    *$30 per person per night after 4 guests
    *Pet fee includes 2 dogs. Additional pets allowed with prior approval and additional pet fee. Please inquire with host.
    *Please count the lanyards in your unit, there is a $25 fee for each missing lanyard upon your departure.
    *If the home needs attention during your stay please notify me immediately so that we can remedy it during your stay. Guest are responsible for any damage that occurs to the bungalow during their stay.
    *All units are on a septic system, please do not flush anything down toilet other than toilet paper.
    *Upon checkout there is a $100 hold on the card on file for incidentals. This is not a charge. The hold will fall off the card in 30 days, if there are no damages.
    *There is a 5% processing fee on ALL REFUNDS. Guest may cancel 60 days prior to checkin for full refund minus 5% processing fee. 50 % refund minus 5% processing fee for refunds made more than 30 days in advance. There are no refunds less than 30 days prior to checkin.

Rainbow River Bungalow

The bungalow was very clean. KP Hole Park is walking distance from the unit and we enjoyed a day kayaking in the beautiful Rainbow River. We were a little confused at check in because I initially did not notice the letters on the units . The picture on my confirmation showed a yellow unit which looked occupied. It ended up our unit was a pinkish color. The owner was very responsive and helped me figure it out.

Girl trip

Location was perfect. VRBO states it sleeps 8 when it had room for 6 but perfect for 4 people. Never got an answer about checking in early and got text with code at 5 minutes to 4:00. Wi-Fi had issues. We had a set of bowls and plates for 4 people(we were 5 people) again it states sleeps 8 and seating for 4 at table. We had issues with ants and cockroaches but it is florida. No pans for the oven just stove top. With the issues stated above I’d still rent this unit again and bring the stuff we did not have and have only 4 people stay there.

Inaccurate listing location

Worst customer service ever!! Still waiting for tocarra to get back to us and we’re already gone! The listing was not on KP hole as listing said. We had no way to drag our kayaks a mile or more down the road and on a holiday weekend there was no parking available so we waisted more money on rentals and transportation when we already had our own after paying a lot of money on this rental that was not what they said it was!! No Wi-Fi and listening to dogs all night and they wouldn’t even respond to us!! I’ll never book VRBO again and we deserve a discount!!

Good find on with beautiful river

Pros: Like new! Had all the essentials. Enjoyed the river on our paddle boards. Water amazing. Cons: pics and info showed a gas grill there were two small charcoal grills so we had to go to the store for supplies. Not being able to have a grill or fire pit by our rental was disappointing. There were dishwasher pods melting on sink so we threw out, as said put all dishes in dishwasher before leaving , there was no dishwasher. The river rules were a bit much and wish it was described to us. We went there and found out no wrapper, water bottles, etc… had to buy containers for all. Had pass for the park but still had to pay for parking. Find that to be a bit annoying especially when it was within walking distance. Which the bungalows had their own entrance to the water. Many many many ant and red and hills so beware when walking around anywhere around the bungalows and common area.
