Weekend getaway

Atmosphere for being on the river was very relaxing. We enjoyed the fire pit and swing area as well as the water access.We had an event scheduled near by and was the perfect weekend location to unplug.

The home is just like it’s presented. Luv the frogs at night! Right on the river! Beds were firm, towels were soft, everything worked well! I would stay again!

Weekend getaway

The property is exactly as described and was perfect for what we needed. The only problem was that the kayak launch on the property is a pickup for a company and there's a lot of people coming through all day. Many of the kayakers thought it was part of the company and sat on the patio, some even asked to use the bathroom.

Great riverside location

Super location near all the good stuff in Dunnellon. Beautiful river views. Property is nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable. Communication with the property owner could be better, the condition of the grill was a little disappointing, and the driveway is a bit of an adventure. So, not quite a 5-star experience for us, but we enjoyed our stay and it’s a great home base for a few days on the Rainbow River.

Three stars for the lack of transparency in the ad. Kayak launch is used by a company and there was a consistent flow of people hanging out Saturday. Detracted from the privacy and tranquility especially since the kitchen window didn't have curtains.

Cleanness was just ok. Felt like I need to wash off everything we used in the kitchen and there was food particles left behind in the floor. The pocket door in the bathroom didn’t come out to shut. TV was confusing to use. There is a launch that belongs to the owner and kayaking company. It was a busy time when we arrived. We had issues with parking due to the other unit. The company was at first a little rude because they thought we wanted to launch ours. Had to keep telling them we were renting the unit. Could hear everything going in the unit above. We did really enjoy our time on the river and the home is a great location for this. Overall it was good.

Nice apartment with a great view

This was a very nice apartment right on the water. We enjoyed our stay there. But it was listed as a apartment with a private kayak launch, (which I assumed that we would share this dock and kayak launch with the visitors upstairs) But apparently the kayak launch is leased to KPHole for people renting kayaks from them to come off the river there and get shuttled back to KP Hole. There was a lot of traffic here between 1:00-5:00PM. We were questioned twice by shuttle drivers of why we were using the launch since we didn’t have KP Hole arm bands on. This made it a disturbing to me. Other than that, our stay was very nice.

Relaxing Respite

The home has been updated recently. The view was beautiful over the Withlachoochee River. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the swing pergola. Birds, alligator, and a tortoise about the size of a basketball. Close to Rainbow Springs and many rental companies. We hope to be back one day!

Great Experience. Perfect Property

Check-in and checkout was easy. The property was clean and neat. Modern furniture and appliances in excellent condition. Wi-fi was fast an reliable. Exactly what we were looking for. Secluded feeling, but very close to restaurants, bars and stores. Great view of the river. Will stay here again if available.
