Majestic

Everything that you could need or want was there for you. The interior of the house designed with a lot of heart. Very clean and comfortable. Great views of the mountains and forest right outside the front door. The backyard garden was sooo inviting, loved hanging out there at night under the stars. I will definitely be back for a repeat experience, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great time exploring this amazing country

Wonderful!

The house was a bit bigger than I expected but so cozy and comfy. Adorable backyard, and it worked out really well for me and my dogs. Lots of very nice touches in the house, and it was SO close to everything. Close to Mt. Shasta and Castle Crags with amazing hiking trails.

Ultimate coziness

From the softness of the bedding and sheets to the details like an essential oil diffuser and coffee station. This was the perfect place to be stuck in a winter storm. Although I wasn’t expecting to get stuck, it was more than serendipitous because the place was well stocked and had everything I needed. I didn’t hesitate to extend my stay. I would DEFINITELY book again when I'm in the area was

Mountain stay

Property as described. Clean , plenty of room , kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need . We arrived on a cold day and lit the Pellet stove and were cozy warm in no time . The bed was very comfortable. There are loads of hiking and biking trails all within 30 mins . Wi-Fi was fast .It was easy to communicate with the Host.

Not how it was pictured

I like to start with positive, the inside was clean, well stocked and had lots of cute little details! The neighborhood was sketchy for lack of a better word. The neighbors were rough looking and loud, past the listed quiet time hours. Also the back yard “garden” was way smaller than pictured, had weeds and the furniture had cob webs and was dirty.But the most disappointing thing about the back yard was the lack of privacy. The wall of the yard was literally someone’s house, no fencer or anything. People were looking out the windows right at me…. Also they have cats, which is fine. But since I brought my dog, my dog was barking at the cats, then the neighbored yelled at me to “shut the dog up” . At night the neighbors were outside smoking and talking which also made my dog bark. So I just feel the yard and neighborhood could be pictured and represented more accurately. But the inside was lovely.

Cute rental, easy location

I thought this rental was great. Very clean, plenty of amenities and a great price. One thing that was off and wasn't a great way to end the break was I requested to check out at 10:30AM instead of 10, which I requested if it was ok and Anna confirmed no issues days in advance of my arrival (which is all tracked through vrbo messages). Seems like she forgot or something but she ended up calling me MANY times until I was able to pick up. Overall - place was great, communication with the owner was way off resulting in a pretty poor check out experience.

Beautiful Property

This was our first experience at a VRBO and it was perfect! It’s even more beautiful in person and they thought of all the details from having local coffee to laundry detergent and everything in between. There is friendly reminders thoughtfully placed so we knew how to use everything. The outdoor space is gorgeous with the sounds of a beautiful stream. We came with our little dog and it perfect for us we will definitely be back.

Nice house, easy access to the property, parking. We didn’t go outside but it has a cute small backyard. One of the most important things was that communication with the owner was excellent, Anna Marie responded right away, very helpful and professional, definitely I’d book it again!

Mountain Cottage getaway

Clean/organized/easy to find stuff in the cottage/alot of amenities/Host Anna Marie was prompt in answering any of our questions...would definitely return for another visit and would recommend to friends/family. Dog friendly which was very important for us.

Nor Cal Hiking Adventure

This Dunsmuir home was a perfect ‘home base’ after a day of hiking trails in Castle Crags State Park, Lake Siskiyou and McCloud Falls. The well stocked kitchen (utensils, pans, dishes, and spices) met our needs. The coffee center, with beans and grinder was great! Anna Marie was an attentive host sending emails to check that we had all we needed. Great communication and responsiveness. Only note I would add is that the window air conditioning units are quite noisy. This was fine during the day, but made it necessary to turn them off at night for sleeping. The rooms felt too warm under those circumstances.

Serene, relaxing home away from home in Dunsmuir

Our stay in Dunsmuir was to visit friends staying at Lake Siskyou for the Summer. This is THE perfect location for hiking the falls, as well as super close for Lake Siskyou trips. The property is exactly as described and as the pictures shown. Very clean. We loved the attention to detail in the rooms, i.e. kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms. Plenty of kitchen items to cook up a gourmet meal! Hand soap, lotion and surface spray in kitchen and bathroom. Our favorite area was the patio areas accessed through the master bedroom. The creek next to the property lends itself to enjoying the outside patio in the mornings. The property is very quiet and serene.
