My husband, myself and our dog extended our stay here to 2 weeks.The space is very comfortable and well equipped. I had to work while here and found the internet to be strong and stable . The host is very responsive and wanted to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed.You can't beat the location, as it gets the morning sun and is an easy walk to the main street.We would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy space close to town.

House was very clean however advertised with two twin beds which were really small cots in a closet. And we did have a pet that was allowed HOWEVER there is no decent space for even a small walk. The backyard is NOT available for the dog and the empty lot next door is filled with junk. Several roaming cats plus issues with local bears made having a pet very difficult.

We were driving through with a trailer, saw this cute place and that restaurants were within walking distance. The place was perfect. We were able to park our open trailer out with no issues. The AC was nice and cool, coffee beans for the best pot of coffee, and they let us check in early. It was amazing!! Thank you for being so accommodating!

This was a quick overnight stop for me on the way to Oregon, but I found the home charming, clean, updated, well stocked, and it was conveniently close to I-5 (did not hear any traffic). I had my pups with me and there’s only a front yard for them, but it was just one night for me, so not an issue. If you have a chance to book the unit below this one, do it! Cute deck and yard with hot tub, etc. When I pass through again, I’ll try to book that one! Lol. But I’d definitely stay here again. Anne Marie was very nice and super responsive.

Dunsmuir getaway

My family and I highly recommend staying here in Dunsmuir. The house itself has everything from a great kitchen set up, essential oil diffusers, white noise machines, to comfy accommodations. My wife exclaimed “they thought of everything.” It’s location is great for places in town and for nearby locations such as Lake Siskiyou and Mount Shasta. As a host, Anna Marie is exceedingly thoughtful in making sure you have everything you need for your stay before and throughout. As well as creating an inviting and peaceful environment. We hope to stay there the next time we visit the area. Thank you!

Great Location and Beautifully Appointed

The description of the cottage did not do it justice. This was a beautifully appointed/designed home that included all the expected amenities and more. Thoughtful inclusion of creamer for coffee and a great guide included for the area and instructions regarding wi-fi access, etc. The home is very clean and includes good quality towels (not always a given so very appreciated). Everything in Dunsmuir is walkable from this location so it is perfectly situated for exploring this adorable mountain town. Great pub, cafes, bakery, and a higher-end dining establishment for dinner. Two blocks from a small grocery store. Two blocks from the Amtrack station. Communication with property manager was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Was not made aware that there was a rental below me and that I was sharing the building and parking area. There were several occasions that this became awkward and uncomfortable for me. The place was very cute and decorated nicely. There were a colony of kitties next door which was ok until I discovered one had gotten inside downstairs. Several attempts to communicate with the caretaker seemed unsuccessful re: snow removal I had to wait 24 hours to get out of driveway ,parking issues ,and then this cat thing.

Wonderful Escape

Beautiful accommodations, very clean and the perfect location. Only downside for me was not enough hot water to fill the luxurious claw foot tub and the baby proofing in the bathroom.

I didn’t stay and no one would assist with cancellation

Host was notified day of I wasn’t coming. Host didn’t not cancel and VRBO wouldn’t let me cancel. Host agreed to returning taxes and cleaning fee. Cleaning fee was returned and taxes refused because it reservation wasn’t cancelled. I do not recommend a host who does not stand by what they say they will do.

Nice stay in Dunsmuir

The home is nicely decorated and comfortable. The owner provides many nice extras. We enjoyed our stay very much. There were very nice folding beds that worked great. I am not sure if I would stay again for a couple of reasons. One is that there is no yard and I brought my dog. The house is right on a he street so this was a little challenging with a dog. The other is that it is a double rental, one upstairs and one downstairs, which I somehow didn’t realize. While we were there there was not a downstairs renter, but there was a note stating a need to step quietly in the living room as it was above the bedroom of the downstairs unit. It is overall a very nice rental.

Very clean and inviting. Host worked with us to enter residence early. Loved the claw foot tub and decor. Kitchen was fully stocked however, would have preferred an actual electric coffee maker. I had to google how to use the French Press.

Beautiful and Functional

My girlfriend and I agreed this is the nicest VRBO we've stayed and we've been to over a dozen. Every detail of the interior design and kitchen setup has been thought through. We cooked full meals and took baths. If my home was this nice I would be lucky. The host communication was excellent. Highly recommend. My only regret is we didnt spend the rest of our vacation here!!
