“A lovely hotel, great staff, great facilities a beautiful golf course and leisure facilities. The breakfast was very good and the food in the bar was also good. Only issue for me was the bed was a bit tired with the springs feeling through and the pillows just not firm enough for my liking. ”

“This was a real surprise. Fabulous, friendly staff and a spacious and airy venue. Our twin room was very clean, quiet and comfy. We ate in the bar and the food was good. Although there is tea and coffee making facilities in the room, the bar offers comfy seating and complimentary hot drinks and cooled filtered water. We had a great walk in shower and all the staff were efficient and helpful. Parking is free via a supplied code. It's an ideal venue if you go to the cinema or a show on the campus...

Room was way better than I imagined with a view of the gardens.Nice large and comfy bed and decor was a high standard.Booked a superior room so got an entrance hall and dressing room. Grounds were stunning and enjoyed a walk before a nice evening meal. The hotel bar was in the great hall which was an amazing location. The only let down was the WiFi and phone reception.Probably due to the location and age...
