Perfect Mountain Escape!I spent a magical week here with my family of five (including our dog, who felt just as welcome as we did), and this property exceeded every expectation. Purgatory Resort is minutes away, making ski days effortless, and coming home to the hot tub after a long day on the slopes was pure bliss.The cabin feel of this home is something special. Warm, cozy, and decorated with excellent taste. It doesn't feel like a rental, but rather like someone's beloved mountain retreat, and every corner reflects that care. The space was spotless clean throughout our stay.Between ski days, we lost ourselves in the owner's wonderful vinyl collection, devoured books from the shelves, and played board games late into the evening (a real gift for a family looking to unplug and reconnect). We also made the most of the stunning deck views and enjoyed strolling around downtown Durango.Our host was an absolute pleasure to work with. Professional, knowledgeable about the area and incredibly responsive whenever we had a question. It was a seamless experience from booking to checkout.If you're looking for a mountain property that delivers on every front, look no further. Five stars, no hesitation. Already looking to re-book.
