Great home for an expanded family. Grandkids loved the hiking trail and their own space. Young adults enjoyed the hot tub. The outdoor balcony was great for morning coffee and watching chipmunks.This location between Durango and Silverton, and not too far to Ouray was perfect for jeepin the area trails.

Wonderful way to ring in the new year

San Juan retreat has everything and more. From the fully stocked kitchen to the toys and sleds for the kids, they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and complete. The hot tub was great for those after ski sore muscles and the sled hill right outside in the backyard gave our boys (11, 10, 9 and 4) endless fun! Rooms were large and the beds were cozy, the entire home was spotless. We highly recommend this beautiful cabin and can’t wait to stay again.

House was beautiful! Wonderful location. Had a great view with a short walk/hike to incredible views! Kitchen was well stocked and had great games/ activities for kids as well! Great communication with host through entire process. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed during a snowstorm, and getting to the property was beautifully scenic (though could be challenging if not in the appropriate vehicle). The property was clean and tidy, with basic necessities. Great home for a skiing group!

Peaceful getaway

Perfect house for 4 couples. Very quiet, at the end of the road. Close to all the activities at Purgatory resort, hiking trails, lakes, and more. The house was stocked with everything you need. It was very well laid out for group. Only wish we could stay longer.

I usually don't write reviews, but this place deserves a 5 star.The owner Andrea was very nice and helpful, she responded to my emails quickly. The place was very clean and decorated very nice. It had everything we need well stock. The location was beautiful. Enough room for 10 people to be comfortable. I would stay here again.

Cycling Trip with Friends

Fantastic property and location between Durango and Silverton! Very quiet and private setting. Wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces to relax, and a hiking trail right out the back door. Appreciated the helpful communications, very comfortable (king!) beds, well appointed bathrooms. 5 stars!

Amazing mountain cabin

We stayed at this home for a week to take advantage of skiing at Purgatory. The house was immaculate. We enjoyed everything about it, from the fully stocked kitchen to the wonderful outdoor hot tube overlooking the beautiful surrounding forest. The house was very clean, in great condition, and the hosts are wonderful. We will be coming back!
