Nice getaway

Very nice house/cabin, the neighborhood is very calm and clean too. Close to purgatory, but not so close to restaurants and markets. Be sure to bring enough supplies, the restaurant at the tamarron lobby does not have very good service.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay. The rental is a townhome/condo about 1 mile from the main lodge and amenities. But an easy drive even in the snow. The rental was beautifully decorated and has a lovely view. The bedrooms had extra blankets and the kitchen was well equipped. We had plenty of room for 8 people.

It is very clean and welcoming. Sitting on the porch in the evening is a must. You can watch golfers coming through and see all the mountains at the same time. I would highly recommend this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was perfectly clean with very comfortable beds and high-end appliances and lovely furniture. There was even a wine cooler. The views of the mountains could not be beat. Two couples shared for 2 days and we had plenty of space and privacy. We would have appreciated more than one 4-cup pkg of coffee (no tea) with no creamers. The lodge does have a convenience store, so this was a negative. We would definitely stay again but BYO.

Kitchen was well stocked. Gym and pool areas were awesome and we visited them daily. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was great!! The only issues was the TV. Owners should leave better instructions on how to use both remotes. All of the amenities we needed were present and the condo was decorated in fall festive themes. Very nice touch. We came back to Tamarron to find it completely changed. My wife and I were fully interested in looking at condo's to purchase on this vacation at Glacier/Tamarron. However, upon arriving and viewing the restaurants and facilities, we immediately changed our minds. Having only two very small restaurants(one being completely vegan!!) and a very tiny bar, does not meet our specifications. The pool for the amount of condos at he resort was insufficient both indoor and outdoor and with many children at the pool, my wife and I could not utilize the facility. Gamble 740-741 was clean, cozy, and all the amenities we needed. Very comfortable bed. We utilized the deck every night, gazing at he stars and the peacefulness of Colorado. The only other hiccups were the stove that only 1 burner would actually ignite. You had to use a handheld lighter to ignite the stove and the microwaves exterior top is not securely attached and fell off hitting my wife in the head!! Needs to be fixed. The plug in the floor by the living room lamp needs to be repaired also. Outlet is not attached with any screws. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay during our trip to Durango. The condo was extremely clean, well stocked, and nicely decorated. The views from the deck we beautiful! We spent a morning at the resort's pool area- my kiddo loved being able to swim outside in a heated pool in the middle of winter! We also went to the resort's restaurant one evening, and we had a great meal! Part of our group skied one of the days at Purgatory, which is right up the road. There is a ski shuttle from the resort, but I ended up dropping them off which was super easy. We would absolutely stay at this condo again during a future visit to Durango!

Loved it

Beautiful and cozy condo in a great location. Quiet and peaceful yet easy access to Durango and Purgatory. The Mineshaft is an absolutely delicious restaurant onsite if you wish to stay close to home. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
