This was one of the most comfortable, well-stocked, vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. The host was extremely responsive as well! Beds were so comfortable and kitchen was a dream. Thank you for creating such a warm, inviting space for our family to make memories in.

Our stay was perfect here. The space was great for three couples and a couple kids. The home was very clean and well equipped and was super close to the ski resort. We’d definitely stay here again!

Spring Break 2025

Our family checked into the property on Monday. We knew several other families staying in Cascade Village, so we got a chance to visit multiple other units. Everyone agreed - hands down - Twilight Peaks is the nicest, most well appointed, roomiest unit of them all. The kitchen has everything you need to cook like at home. The family room set up, couches and fireplace, are super comfy. The loft with a couch and tv were perfect for my boys to set up an Xbox and veg out after a day on the slopes. We would definitely return! One tip - if you have a big car like a Suburban and travel with a cargo camper on top, you won’t fit in the garage parking spot. So make sure you need that cargo topper. We parked near the lobby for Cascade Village but with a major snow last night we had to dig out and defrost before we could get on the road.

Great Family Stay in the mountains

We enjoyed our stay. The condo had plenty of room for our multi-generational family vacation. Kitchen was well stocked and the views were beautiful. Being from Texas we worried about no air-conditioning but with the windows open and the fans going we were comfortable. Something to note is if you need groceries or dinner on your way in from Durango.. stop in Durango! Everything close to condo closed at 8pm! Cost us $100 for pizza ( 2 large and 1 small) at the resort!

Great Condo!

This was a great place to stay for easy access to Purgatory. There is a free shuttle to the mountain or its an easy 2 minute drive. Condo was very nice and had plenty of space for our group of 6 guys.

Great Stay

We loved our stay at Twilight Peaks! The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our family of 6. Getting to Purgatory to ski was easy both by car and the shuttle. Kristen was super responsive and helpful. We will be back for sure!!

Wonderful condo in the mountains close to Durango with the best Mountain Views. Very comfortable and spacious property close to all the mountain towns we wanted to visit. We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations

Comfortable and Beautiful

We loved our stay! The condo is luxurious, especially given its amazing location. The beds were comfortable, the internet was super fast, and even on the hottest of days the condo stayed comfortable with all the windows open. Mornings on the deck were amazing--there are about a hundred hummingbirds whizzing around the balconies (many of which have feeders) and starlings (I think) swooping around in the sky. And the stars at night are incomparable. We went hiking every day--don't miss the Colorado Trail heading into Durango. Best views I've ever seen! We were so sad to go.

We love Cascade Village

This is our second time to stay in Cascade Village unit #1. My personal opinion is that it has the BEST view of all the units. Being higher and staggered in an end unit gives a lovely view of Potato Hill and the Twilight and Needles peaks, plus you get the extra end window in the dining area. This unit is well stocked with kitchenware, towels, linens, pillows, cuddle blankets, full size bathroom products... everything you need! Kristen texts right back if you have questions. Cascade Village is the perfect place to stay to put you in the mountains and close to good hiking and Silverton, while being 40 minutes from Durango town center.

The perfrct condo

We make an annual trip to Purgatory for one last ski trip in the spring. We have 4 kids so finding a place with beds for us all can be tricky. This condo had it all! Beds, supplies, plenty of cookware for meals after a long day on the slopes. Eveeything was clean and comfy! The downstairs bed is very firm but turned out to be very comfortable. I forget her name but the cleaning lady was incredibly kind and helpful! Communication was quick and very kind from owner as well. I tried to book our trip for next year at this place while we were there but it was already booked. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Incredible house with a great view

Our group absolutely loved our stay at the condo. It had everything we needed to enjoy our ski vacation. The rooms were comfortable and the decor of the place was really beautiful. The communication was the host was seamless and we didn't need anything during our stay. We can't wait to come back again.

The stay I missed

My family from the Eastern slope arrived in Durango the Saturday prior to our scheduled and before the huge snowstorm blew in. I, on the other hand, was at home on the opposite side of the mountains where Purgatory is located. The storm dumped feet of snow and roads leading through the mountains were closed due to adverse driving conditions and avalanche danger. Thus, I was unable to join my family for this stay. They had a wonderful time and remarked that the condo was clean and very lovely, all they could have asked for .

Perfect winter break!

Wonderful 2 week Christmas family vacation! The condo was a perfect size for our family of 5. Warm and cozy, we’ll equipped, 4 min drive to Purgatory (go in the back entrance to avoid traffic and park in the upper lot), The Lift restaurant onsite is convenient, covered parking, ample firewood supply, and a Peloton in the condo was an awesome surprise. Kristen was incredibly helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful condo, clean comfortable and convenient!

My husband & I chose this cozy and beautiful condo for a Christmas family ski vacation and could not have been more impressed with it! We brought our 2 college aged kids plus 2 of their friends for a week long ski get away. The condo is roomy, excellently stocked with all the comforts of home and impeccably clean. It’s also just a mile from the Purgatory Ski Resort so no long commutes! We will definitely use this spot again and recommend if for anyone wanting to visit Durango for a warm or cold weather trip.

Great Experience!

We had a wonderful experience on our vacation thanks to Kristen and her hospitality. Kristen was easy to communicate with, responsive and wanted us to love her home as much as she does. Great location, fantastic atmosphere, amenities were awesome... we would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay here! Super clean, well stocked with everything we could have needed, great location and amenities although we didn’t get a chance to use the pool or hot tub. The host was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. Overall we felt it was a great value for the amount of space and amenities we got! Would stay here again!

Perfect Place for a Getaway

Our stay at Twilight Peaks was fabulous! The condo is so well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes, cookware, spices, cleaning products, and even flour/sugar. There were ample towels, pillows, and even blankets to snuggle up. The condo was perfectly situated as an end unit with a lovely view of the mountains on the other side that were mostly unobstructed from any other building. Kristen even provides a nice list of nearby hikes, two of which begin right from the condo. This is a perfect location to be between Durango and the Silverton/Ouray area. We will be back for sure!!

Mountain getaway

We decided to stay here because the property showed great on the website and the value was excellent for a large party of people. The place was indeed amazing, check in/out was seamless, and the place was spotless upon our arrival. We were planning to be on the road for 8 days in total so having a full size washer and dryer was a huge factor in choosing this as well. My only complaint(s) would be the comfort of the bed in the master bedroom, and it was a bit far from downtown Durango (30-35 mins) if that matters to anyone looking to be closer to the action. Would definitely stay again, 5 stars from our posse.
