“Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.”

“We were impressed with the cleanliness and the fact that the house was warm and comfortable.The crockery/cutlery were lovely quality and we were very pleased with all the extras such as handwash: toilet rolls:Washing up liquid: cooking oil/condiments etc.The sitting room was particularly cosy with the flame effect gas fire.All in all it is a great place to stay and couldn’t be moreconvenient for walking into town. Located in between Lhandridod Wells and Builth Wells, it's a nice getaway if you're looking for a rural quiet area.The ace card of the property is the all day heated hot tub (which has a roof over it to use in all weathers). “Really lovey place to stay if you just want peace and quiet, very basic and very romantic and secluded. Just hear in mind your only cooking appliances are a cooking hob. So any meals you plan on cooking must be cookable in a saucepan or frying pan. That being said the rose and crown in Michaelchurch.”

“Lovely property. Parking proved difficult to ensure our 4x4 did not block next doors gate. The road was extremely busy whilst we manoeuvred the car as close are we could to the fence. The stone plant pot did not help. Although the garden is lovely the property would appeal more if the lawn was hard core for easier off street parking.”
