This is the perfect place for those looking for a tranquil and peaceful holiday; the lodge is tucked away in a secluded spot surrounded by woodland and rural areas. The shared outdoor pool, where guests can take a daily dip, is a wonderful addition. Located on the outskirts of Whippingham, a historic village with stunning scenery and charming shops is a great base for exploring. Visitors can explore the surrounding countryside, walk along the River Medina, or simply unwind in one of the local pubs. Cycling, hiking, and water sports are just a few of the more adventurous options. Just 1.5 miles away is Osborne House, a popular English Heritage site which welcomes visitors to explore the wonderful house and its grounds. Cowes is highly recommended, and it is home to Cowes Week, one of the world's oldest sailing regattas. Explore the beaches and lively town, with a variety of eateries ranging from seafood to traditional pub food (8 miles).

When you enter this lovely lodge, remove your coat and boots in the hallway and proceed into the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner. This is the ideal spot for preparing home-cooked meals before sharing a romantic supper around the dining table and reminiscing about the day's adventures. After dinner, you can unwind on the comfortable sofa while watching your favourite movie on TV or simply reading a good book in your tranquil surroundings. The lodge, which is all on one level, also has a comfortable double bedroom and a small shower room where you can freshen up.

A peaceful and private area with outdoor garden furniture is located outside the back of the lodge, where guests can unwind and enjoy the sunshine. The property benefits from the shared use of a 30ft outdoor heated pool, open between April and October and shared with another property within the grounds.
