Great location to SGI, Eastpoint and Apalachicola. Appliances were new and in great shape and house was spotless. BUT, by far the best stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in.

Just What I needed...

This is a great place! Beautiful and well organized. Has so much of what you need! The location ROCKS. Easy access to both bridges. The couch was comfy but I have to admit as a woman in her 60's - I melted into it but had a hard time getting up. Then again - it was a perfect place to just stay to relax! ;-) Bring me that cocktail! It is easy to access from the roads and everyone in the neighborhood seemed very friendly. We would return in a heartbeat.

My husband and I were attending a wedding in Appalachicola this past weekend. Renting this house was perfect! The house was very clean, well stocked, and close to everything. Melissa communicated well and was wonderful to work with. We were very pleased and would definitely rent it again.

Fishing trip with friends and family

Seafood Festival Done Right

My wife and I, and three friends were here for the Florida Seafood Festival. Accommodations and location couldn't have been better. Easy to get to and from the fest, comfortable and quiet during down time. Thank you Melissa for the great getaway!

Amazing Home Away from Home

If you are looking for somewhere that is new, beautifully decorated, and SPOTLESS, then this is your place!! We were 5 minutes from everything and felt like we had just discovered the best kept secret in Florida!!! We will definitely be back and can’t imagine doing a beach vacation anywhere else EVER again!!!!

Perfect location for a beach town getaway!

This was our first time going to the beach in this area. We loved it! The house was in a perfect location, just 30 sec from the start of the bridge to cross over into St George Island, and very close to the bay bridge to cross over into Apolachicola. The house was beautiful and had all of the kitchen amenities and bathroom amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was so clean. We also enjoyed the beach towels, cooler bag, and umbrella they provided for the beach. My only complaint, and it’s small, is that the living room area could use a lounge chair or two, as it only has the couch and two small wooden chairs to sit in, which aren’t super comfortable if you are going to watch a movie with the family. Overall a great place to stay.

Super clean and convenient spot

Our family of 5 loved this little house. We had everything we needed and we were so pleased with the location. We easily were able to cross whichever bridge we needed to get to the places we wanted to see. And each night we had a great spot to land and rest. The beds were very comfy, the kitchen was very well stocked, and all 5 of us loved how beautiful everything was. Our littlest guy loved the jar of legos too. Such a fun touch for kids. We would be happy to stay again and again!

The Perfect Escape

What a wonderful little surprise it was to book a last minute trip and end up in the perfect town and home to bring in the New Year! Melissa’s home is absolutely amazing! It’s organized meticulously and has all the comforts to make this your home away from home. If you’re duck hunting, you’re just 3 minutes from various ramps. If you’re sight seeing, you’re 5-7 minutes from the SGI and Apalachicola city centers. And if you’re just in the mood to relax, the home is stocked with great books, games, and cozy spaces. Thank you again to Melissa and her husband for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful home! I know we’ll be back soon! Jackie
