  • Modern home, pet-friendly, onsite parking. Bright and comfortable with new furnishings and efficient heating and cooling. Sunny deck with propane grill, outdoor furniture and mountain views. Remote work with wi-fi and desk.

    Walk to Cascade Lake and all of the Moran State Park trails.

    Rosario Resort is one mile away, Eastsound Village is a 10 minute drive.

    Exciting news on June 22, 2026: The new tiny home that was built next door is complete!! The construction was extremely sporadic and the contractor did not always tell me before he arrived. I did my best to protect my guests from the construction noise.

    So grateful that it is finished and my new neighbors can move into their Orcas home.

    The terrain of Orcas is gorgeous, but the hills also mean that your cell coverage will be spotty. We have reliable wifi with a local provider. Many of our guests have used it for video conferencing while working from the house.

    The driveway is shared with the house next door. This house is TO THE RIGHT.

    DOG OWNERS
    We welcome your pets in our home and do not charge a pet fee.

    *PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE FURNITURE OR BEDS. We will charge an extra cleaning fee of $30 if there is excess hair on the furniture or beds.
    *Use the dog towels in the entry closet. White towels are for people only!
    *Dogs are not allowed on the sofa or beds.
    *Dogs should be left alone only in their crates. Ideally, please take them with you.
    *Doggie bags are under the kitchen sink. Put them in the trash, never in the toilet.

    Please help us keep the house clean for other guests by keeping your pets off of the couch and beds.

    We strive to be eco-friendly and provide as many natural, non-toxic, zero-waste options as we can to help care for the environment. Please be kind to our island ecosystem.

Wonderful house in a great location. We walked to the lake and Rosario daily. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing Orcas Island get away!

This house was perfectly located and with all of its windows was such a pretty and peaceful view. It was so easy to cook some meals in and located near to shops and restaurants. Our host was excellent! Very communicative and gave us very helpful advice regarding the ferry & special places to visit and eat. We would highly recommend this place to stay! You will be very happy you did!

Great Getaway

We had a great time relaxing on the deck enjoying a drink in the morning and afternoons. The Lake was a nice place to walk our dog and taking in the views.

Modern retreat, great location

Beautiful modern house with lots of natural light. Very comfortable spaces to hang out and relax, including a great deck. Nice location---short walk to Cascade Lake; short drive to Eastsound, Moran State Park, and other places of interest. Host was helpful and very responsive, good communication. Would stay here again!

A lovely home for R&R

This is a lovely home for a short respite. The neighborhood is terrific for long hikes down to the water or into the trails. All of the creature comforts are provided - we wanted for nothing.

Perfect location for enjoying Moran State Park

We enjoyed our winter stay on Orcas Island very much. The property is very close to all of the wonderful hiking and biking adventures/opportunities that Moran State Park has to offer. We found the neighborhood to be very peaceful and uncrowded.

Beautiful Place

This home was perfect for our family! We really enjoyed our stay. We cooked most of our meals there and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice as well. We really appreciated the natural and organic soaps and shampoo. Thanks again for providing a great place for our family to enjoy each others company!

Beautiful Orcas Island in the woods

Beautiful house and property. Close to hiking trails and Eastsound. Set in the quietness of trees and lots of Star gazing on the deck. Orcas Island is a special place of beauty.

Lovely property in the woods

Great place in the woods. Saw deer most days. Extremely walkable to the lake. Well equipped and the owner is super-responsive. Nice deck and grill to eat outside.

Great property lots of sun and room on the deck. Deer every morning and evening on the property. Trail access to Moran State park right across the street was awesome. Jan was always available. Would stay again.

Cute House, great location

This home was a great experience. It was clean and it had all the essentials. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the view of the lake thru the huge windows. It was a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the state park. Jan as a host was great, providing recommendations for activities on the island and making sure that we didn’t have any issues with our stay.

Madrona Home Stay

Home was clean and identical to photos provided on the listing. The home was well furnished, had a well stocked kitchen for cooking. We loved the location and it was a perfect place to come back and relax after long days filled with hiking and being outside. The owner provided helpful recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. She was communicative and went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was perfect.

Wonderful spot! Scented

This was a wonderful spot! Incredible location, so close to the park and easy drive to the shops. Our favorite was walking to cascade lake with our pup!PSA: this location is strongly scented and made us a bit ill. Note that this is not accessible for scent sensitive folks! (Meyer products are SO scented, and all over the house.)

Great house, nice owner

The house was immaculately clean when we got there. It has comfortable furniture, good quality appliances, and I like the decor (not cluttered, but not Spartan). The neighborhood is quiet and has a lovely view. It is very close to Moran State Park and a quick (15 min max) drive to town. The owner gave thorough and timely information about the property and surroundings. Highly recommended!

Relaxing, beautiful property

This is our second time staying at this house and its just as relaxing and amazing the second time around! We appreciated the well appointed kitchen with some basic spices & oils, the water filter and ice trays in the fridge, the cozy blankets and pillows, and the beautiful deck. It was fun to do a puzzle together inside and we enjoyed some meals on the deck. The view is beautiful - we saw deer a couple of times and the wildflowers were so fun! Jan has great communication and sent over some fun recommendations for restaurants, plus let us know about the day fee you can pay at Rosario to use the pool. We highly recommend this property!
