This home was thoughtfully designed to showcase the stunning views of Lake Martin and the surrounding woods while providing exceptional privacy from neighboring homes during the summer months. The expansive great room spans approximately 20' x 38' extending from the kitchen at one end to a fireplace at the other. The open floor plan is ideal for family gatherings. A 24‑foot vaulted ceiling with stained wood beams stretches across the width of the house, The A‑frame wall facing the lake features floor‑to‑ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, offering breathtaking views of the lake, trees, and sky.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay. The coffee maker accommodates both K‑cups and a traditional carafe (round filters required).
This three‑bedroom, two‑bath home comfortably sleeps nine guests. The master suite includes a king bed and private bath. The second bedroom features a king bed and one twin bed, while the third bedroom offers two twin beds. The second bathroom is conveniently located between these two bedrooms. Additional sleeping options in the loft include a queen sleeper sofa, one youth bed, A queen Aero Bed is available -stored in the laundry room allowing for a maximum occupancy of 12. A pack‑n‑play is also available.
The loft (29' x 14') includes a ping‑pong table and a 65" smart TV viewing area. Wireless internet is provided.
The laundry room, equipped with a washer and dryer, is located in a separate room at one end of the loft. At the opposite end, you’ll find two sofas and a TV; one sofa converts into a queen sleeper. Please note that while a wall blocks the view of the sofa from the great room, the loft remains an open space. (See photos.)
We have equipped the rental property with two smart TVs, each fitted with an Amazon Firestick. To use your personal streaming accounts, you can use the 'Guest Connect' feature on the Firestick, which will sign you out automatically after your stay. If you prefer, you are also welcome to bring your own Firestick or Roku device to connect to the TVs. Just remember to reconnect the owners’ firestick device and take your device with you when you leave.
Outdoor living is enhanced by a large deck across the front of the home and smaller covered decks on both sides. The main deck includes perimeter seating, a dining table with six chairs, four Adirondack chairs, and a gas grill. Gates are installed on the side decks and at the top of the stairs leading to the lake to help keep children and pets safely contained. (See photos.)
A spacious pier at the end of the boardwalk offers deep water on one side for mooring boats, while the opposite side features shallow water ideal for children to swim and play. A floating dock provides easy access to watercraft during full pool and as water levels gradually lower in the fall. During full pool, there is space for docking for 2-3 boats or jet skis. From late fall through early spring, lower water levels may prevent boat docking.
The home is conveniently located within approximately 35–40 miles of military bases in Montgomery, Auburn University for football games, and the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Prattville. By car or boat, guests can easily reach Catherine’s Market, SpringHouse Restaurant, and numerous other dining options located at marinas around the lake. Seasonal concerts and fourth of July fireworks are also accessible by boat or car.
Lake Martin Security patrols the area and can be contacted for any security concerns. They also respond to the home’s alarm system if activated. Additional security features include an alarm system and three exterior Ring cameras: one motion‑activated camera at the deck entry, one at the front door, and one near the kitchen door facing the lake. There are no cameras inside the home. The alarm system includes window and door sensors and is monitored by Ring Security. Instructions for arming and disarming the system, as well as self‑entry instructions, will be provided. Keys are available in a lockbox.
This is a pet friendly home with a small fee for one or two pets.
This home has been on the rental market since 2009 and has consistently received excellent ratings. For the past seven years, we were fortunate to have several long‑term renters, all of whom moved on after purchasing their own lake homes. We are now pleased to offer the property once again for short‑term rentals.
