Beautiful spot on Lake Eden

We loved our stay at this comfortable home on the lake. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, quiet environment. Lots of space to relax inside and on the deck with beautiful views.

A nice place to stay for a ski trip

We had an awesome time at this house, we really liked being pretty secluded but not too far from things. With the hot tub and awesome snow it was a great time!

We had a wonderful time. Owner was very accommodating, even let us store our ATVs in the garage when they were not in use. Location of the house is beautiful, over looking Lake Eden and surrounded by hills and mountains.

Beautiful area

Quiet, well maintained home in beautiful rural Vermont with a great Lake down a hill. Lots of fun with fishing, swimming and kayaking. Good internet service.

Solid place

Came up with family and friends and the house was nice and spacious, close drive to Jay peak and other places. Kitchen well equipped, looks like it be super fun in the summer. I’d def be back if I were in the area. Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful Lakefront Home Getaway

This house is perfect for active family gatherings, including dogs. Our family and dogs throughly enjoyed swimming and using the kayaks and canoe. Guraj was very responsive and accommodating during our stay, ensuring the house was well stocked with supplies and amenities. He is a top notch host! We also appreciated having access to a smart TV when the weather was not suitable for outdoor activities. Highly recommend this property!

Vermont in the fall

My wife and i had a wonderful visit from Milwuakee. The house was equipped with everything necessary. we loved the fireplace and firewood on chilly evenings. i enjoyed fishing off the deck on Lake Eden and caught a rainbow trout. Fall colors incredible. Definitely 5 stars joe and beth

Jay ski trip

Great property and responsive host. Our group loved the fireplace and hot tub. One note: the hot tub fee was strangely opaque. We were charged $175 (worth it for us). Also the wood fired hot tub was not available, we used the spa-style hot tub on the porch.

Comfy bed and gorgeous natural surroundings, could use some TLC

Overall we loved the property. The king bed in the master was one of the most comfortable beds we’ve even slept on! And the lake is absolutely stunning with the fall color surrounding it. We took the canoe out and it was one of our favorite activities of the whole vacation. There are some parts of the house that could use a little TLC – the carpet is light beige and appears pretty old with lots of stains. Quite a few stains on the wall paint also; several closet doors are broken and the handle on the dryer was broken. The listing could also use an update – there’s a photo of a fireplace in one of the bedrooms but that is non-operable and now hidden behind a dresser. Also, the listing says there are 2 king beds but only the main level bedroom has a king. We really enjoyed the fireplace in the living room and appreciated that they supplied plenty of firewood. FYI – Thibault’s market (about ½ hour away) had the most amazing cranberry citrus cookies!!

Perfect lake house for families!

Absolutely perfect lakeside lodging for our three adults, two children, and yellow lab. The house had everything one could possibly need: well equipped and generously stocked kitchen and bathrooms, gas grill, spacious and comfy living rooms, air conditioning, good wifi (especially important since Verizon phone service is non-existent ... AT&T seems to be the only game in town), TV with lots of streaming channels and apps, roomy bedrooms and comfy beds, washer and dryer, games and toys galore, and great lakeview porch and firepit. Best of all--the lovely shorefront on the quiet southwest end of Eden Lake. A short, steep walk (with raspberry and blackberry bushes along the way) takes you to the lovely cove--warm and clean water, no through motorboat traffic, just occasional kayakers, mallard ducks, and a loon. Dock, swim raft, three kayaks, an Old Town canoe, PFDs in all sizes, and a few Adirondack and beach chairs--all that we needed to enjoy this beautiful lake. All-day sun, but also enough tree shade. While leaving, our six- and eight-year-old grandsons said they want to come back next summer ... that kinda says it all.

Lake Eden stay

This lake house property has everything you need if you’re looking for a place to get away from it all . It is in a peaceful, serene location on a small quiet lake. The kayak and canoe rides down the lake each morning were a beautiful way to start the day! The house itself is clean and well- equipped! I loved having sheets and towels all provided for us! Stowe is a 20 minute ride away with plenty to do. The general store right down the road has everything you need without going to the grocery stores in town!! What a find! My family and I had a wonderful time the week we stayed here! We were sorry we had to leave!

Great summer vacation

The house and location are wonderful. The house is has everything one could want for a hot summer vacation, even air conditioning. It has a modern, spacious layout to accommodate all. The owner responded quickly to all our questions. The extra bonus was the kayaks which allowed us to paddle to the loon family every morning and be entertained by their antics.

Great family stay

We had everything we needed! Everyone enjoyed the water activities on the nice days. Had everything we needed for making breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not a lot in the town itself but about 20-30 minute drive to downtown Stowe and an hour from Burlington. Great time had by all, even our four-legged family member :)

We arrived in Vermont earlier in than planned. We called the owner and they graciously allowed us to come earlier then plan. IT was a beautiful place.

Winter Getaway

The house is lovely! Open, spacious, clean, and well appointed. Lots of extra pillows, down comforters, towels, and toiletries. The kitchen had every appliance you could want including an air fryer, 12 cup coffee maker, food processer, pots and pans, etc. We cooked several full meals and baked cookies They even had sleds for us to use! When we arrived, complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine were on the counter to welcome us. It felt like home as soon as we walked in. We built a cozy fire each night and watched Christmas movies on the large TV which has every major app available. During the day, we went on walks along the country roads, strolled through lovely Stowe, and went sledding. So much fun! The owners and property manager were super responsive to any questions we had and were extremely helpful addressing our needs. We look forward to experiencing this beautiful site in the summer! As lovely as it was with snow, we're sure it's just as amazing to hang out on the dock swimming, relaxing under the gazebo, or enjoying a meal on the patio. We definitely recommend this home for your next adventure!

Great lake front property

We had a great week staying at this lake front property! The house is cute, clean and functional. The first floor has a large open kitchen (fully equipped) and a spacious living room. The bedroom on the first floor opens to a deck that has a nice sitting area and view of the lake. The lake is clean and quiet. The property has kayaks, canoes and life vests available for guests. Our family has stayed at other places in the area and this one is the best! We would definitely return!
