This cosy holiday flat in Hemfurth-Edersee offers space for up to 4 people. It is located on the 2nd floor and is an ideal choice for couples or small families who want to spend a quiet holiday. Pets are not allowed in this flat. The owner of the property also lives on the premises.The flat has a bedroom that can be darkened and a bathroom with shower. A fireplace provides a cosy atmosphere, while modern amenities such as an induction cooker, a filter coffee machine and a kettle are available. The energy supply is environmentally friendly using solar energy.The balcony invites you to spend relaxing hours outdoors, although barbecuing is not permitted here (the spacious balcony is shared with the neighbouring holiday flat). Lake Edersee and the neighbouring Kellerwald-Edersee National Park offer a wide range of activities for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. Only 300 - 500 metres away (5 minutes' walk) from the holiday apartment is the Edersee with the Edertal barrier wall, which is not only ideal for walks, but also for water sports: Surfing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, diving and fishing are popular leisure activities here. Windsurfers will find ideal conditions in various bays, and several surf schools offer courses for beginners and advanced surfers (Rehbach approx. 3km away).For mountain and cable car enthusiasts, the funicular railway to Peterskopf is just 1 kilometre away. Once at the top, a spacious viewing platform awaits you after a few minutes' walk, from where you can gaze out over the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park and far into the Waldecker Land region. The Kellerwald-Edersee National Park is known for its unspoilt beech forests, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hikers will find 19 well-signposted circular hiking trails here, which can be combined into longer tours.
