“From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

“Myself, husband and our two teenagers had a good stay at the cottage. The condition of the place is excellent. All beds were comfortable. Great living room/dining room layout, plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen size perfect, great for preparing meals in, everything you could need. Outside patio very nice for breakfasting in the sunshine!This is our second stay in the property and we'd heartily recommend it.”

“First, you can't check in till 5pm. Second, the shower is small and slippery when wet. When I mentioned that I'd nearly fallen twice and it needed a non-slip mat, I was told can't be done as this would be an admission that there is a problem. Plus, the light in the bathroom is on a motion sensor timer and kept cutting out leaving me in the shower, in the dark.
