This property has SO much potential. We attempted to contact the host several times before our stay, they never responded. The listing description is totally inaccurate! The front door is glass and there is no covering on it for privacy. The first room has a table right next to the bed that makes it near impossible to get in and out, no side tables or lamps. The bathroom was absolutely filthy. I was shocked! Used shower sponge, hair and grime on floor and poop on shower curtain! We washed it and rehung it… There are no hanging hooks for any towels either. The second bedroom was very squishy. The toddler bed had no sheets. The kitchen is lacking essentials. All the furniture needs to be tightened throughout the house. Be careful sitting on the barstools and white dining chairs. They are not safe! The dining table was not centred on the base, it wasn’t even attached… There are no cleaning supplies which was very frustrating. No vacuum or broom. Host said the cleaner brings hers… I would suggest a new cleaner as the rental was very dirty upon arrival. There was also washing in the dryer when we arrived. We went and purchased a broom and cleaning supplies for our stay. We also washed the bathroom shower curtain… Need to supply instructions for trash collection and house rules along with basic cleaning supplies. Broom, vacuum, all purpose spray... Thank you for the stay, just need a few changes to make it more functional esp. for families and long stays.

Great potential, Mixed Experience

We recently stayed at this property due to proximity to Aspen Ranch for a wedding and had a mixed experience. The house is spacious and in a great location, and we truly appreciated how responsive the owner was once made aware of the issues.However, we did experience several problems: the A/C didn’t cool below 74F our first night due to a frozen coil, but the owner had it serviced promptly. Cleanliness and maintenance need attention—we found a fingernail on the master bedroom carpet, stained sheets in the twin room, food left in the fridge, several burnt-out bulbs (no spares), and a closet door hanging off its hinge. One bar stool was wobbly and unsafe, and there were no extra blankets in the living room. Several rooms had no lamps, making them quite dark, and the fridge’s water and ice dispenser didn’t work.Seating in the living room was limited; either additional seating is needed, or the upstairs bonus room (which has a sectional) should have a TV. Also, communication before the stay was slow—it took two weeks to confirm bedroom setup. For reference, there are 4 bedrooms: 2 with queens, 1 with a twin, and 1 with a twin and toddler bed—this was not listed in the description.The home has potential and is a good fit for groups, but a few improvements and better pre-arrival communication would really elevate the experience.

Truth in Advertising

Owner Julie was ver easy to deal with up until we got the code. Tried communicating after that a couple of times with no response back. The unit was dirty. Had toast crumbs on the kitchen table and floor by the table. Hair in the bathroom areas. Worst part was the advertisement there was a king bed and there were two queens not a king and queen. That was not a good find when we checked in. Very Disappointing. Great Coffee pot. Sleeping for 8 but dishes for 4??? That was not good either so we ate elsewhere for lunch and dinner. Was a fair experience not great. Thanks

Newer Rental

This is a newer, very clean property. Locking and unlocking front door a little confusing with no instruction. A few small things could make stay more pleasant. Extra toilet paper in the bathrooms, hooks or racks for towels and washcloths, water and ice maker hooked up (if not fresh ice and bottle water available), information on house description that twin beds more appropriate for kids. Very soft.

Beautiful home!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. We were able to visit our son, who is a freshman at UCO, and we got to visit the Orr Farm pumpkin patch. So fun! We enjoyed the quietness of the home, the cleanliness, and the enjoyment of being with family. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Family wedding weekend

The property was clean and tastefully decorated. Easy access to and from hi-way 74. I recommend the owner list items guests should bring to complete the stay or provide for convenience (coffee filters, sugar, trash cans in all areas, wine and bottle openers,) Instructions on where to put the trash and if dish washer should be turned on and if linens should be removed from beds and bathrooms. It was a comfortable place for our family and we would rent again.

Great house. Clean and well located.

The house was exactly what we needed. We were staying in town for my daughter's wedding and this home was located within minutes of the venue. Overall, our stay was good. There were a couple of minor issues (master bathroom door would not close, trash from previous tenants left in bags on back porch) but nothing that took away from the experience. No check out instructions were provided beforehand and trying to communicate with property owner / manager was a bit frustrating but eventually we sorted it out. If I found myself in the area again, I would be willing to stay here again.
