Studio situated behind a row of shops, look for Premier Stores as satnav took us to the wrong end of the road. Excellent communication from Roberto regarding check in & keysafe code. Studio (4b) had everything I needed for a perfect weekend. Woke up to a powercut which i put down to the storm we’d had but this meant my phone wasn’t charged and worse I couldn’t start the day...

“Great value for money. I've stayed in two rooms now - 1 small single and 1 double room. Both were clean with modern furnishings giving them an clean, open feel. The floor - not carpeted (a bonus IMHO) - was clean and hygienic. The Shower in both rooms was FABULOUS! Don't be put off by the exterior, which is in need of refreshing, this accommodation is very good value for money and ideally situated for access to the beach, shops and town centre etc. ”

“Good onsite parking within a very short walk to Battle high street and abbey but unfortunately the abbey park grounds were closed but none the less had a lovely pre Christmas one night stay at the Chequers, the food was of good quality both evening and breakfast, staff friendly and helpful, the room spacious and mattress very comfortable but could all do with refreshing but bear in mind it is a very old Inn circa 1478 but what is really needed are blackout blinds on the windows as our room was...
