“This is not your typical hotel stay, so when I say everything was well maintained, service was good, etc, it accounts for the fact it is a very old home with some original or era appropriate things (such as old doornobs which my daughter commented on), and that it is a true B&B so it is their home and they have lives and it is not a standard hotel setting (they had a hair dryer, just not in every bathroom). “The breakfast buffet was good. There were a couple of minor things in our room that needed repair. I mentioned them when we checked out, and the staff said someone would get them repaired that day. The pool was out of order, and we had been looking forward to that. The bathroom was nice and clean, but the carpet in the hall looked dirty. The area behind the hotel provided a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sunshine, flowers, and birds. Overall, it was fine for the price.”

“Bed are on a metal base and when you sit or lay on the bed they make a loud banging sound like bending sheet metal. Had to change rooms twice. Front desk person was very underatanging and went out of his way to help.”
