First ones in the morning, last ones at night closing the place with a smile in their faces. The bar was amazing with good music, we loved being so close to other places to explore, walk & have a coffee! ”

Checked in and was given room 111 which was an unpleasant dark and cramped accessible room, windows were covered in frosted glass so you could not see out as it overlooked a utility courtyard. “Drumee Lodge is a beautiful property, in a picturesque location, close to the Mourne Mountains. The property is stunning and the hosts are fantastic. They were both so welcoming and made our stay so special, including leaving chocolates and a birthday card, in our room. Highly recommended to stay. We will stay again ”

“Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle.”
