“I could go on and on about how great this property is and how wonderful Donna is, but I think everyone else has already said that. This beautiful property was built in the 1800s and has history with her family. The house has a story and honestly, made it extra special. “The house is beautiful and comfortable. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed cooking, relaxing and venturing off. The property and the walks we took visiting the animals and the scenery was so enjoyable. The host(s) could not be more accommodating. Each room is impeccable and the history of the home and land. “As soon as you pull in you are greeted by a beautiful willow tree. The property is just amazing, from the trout stream to the house. Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake. The host, Gary, is super friendly. We can’t wait to come back!”

“Wonderful home, very well stocked and cleaned. Great water, pressure, hot water. The perfect location on the river we had so much fun playing in the river for 2 1/2 days. Close enough to town if you needed anything from the store. We got Walmart Delivery a couple times which was just as quick as when we’re at home In a bigger city. This was truly one of the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. We are truly hoping to come back Every year!”

“We arrived at 9:00 PM to check in. No one was at the front desk. We called a phone number for late night arrivals but no one answer. We now have to look for a hotel. I hope they do not charge us for the room we did not get.”
