Ideal location for sightseeing and hiking. The place was nice and clean, comfortable and had everything furnished necessary to cook meals, etc. The host was courteous, and quickly responded to any questions we had. Perfect stay while visiting our daughter at Davis and Elkins to spend some quality time together and share in memories of the beautiful colors of fall in West Virginia. Thanks again for everything.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, cozy, and welcoming. The cabin had that perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort-comfortable furnishings, and all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway.The setting was peaceful and private, with gorgeous views that made morning coffee and evening sunsets feel extra special. It was the perfect place to unwind, whether we were enjoying the deck, relaxing inside, or exploring the surrounding area.The hosts clearly put a lot of thought and care into making guests feel at home, and it really showed in every detail. We left with memories that we’ll cherish and are already talking about when we can come back.Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the perfect retreat!

The property was as pictured. A private hot tub with access to the suite. It is close to other properties but was still private. We greatly enjoyed our stay! It is truly a suite, meant for 2 people. Perfect for the weekend we wanted as a couple with our family dog joining us.

Nice little getaway

Nice little getaway, very clean and cozy, Friendly neighbors, nice view Of the river wish there was better access to river, steps to the river is more like steps to overlook the river. The hot tub was perfect, I would say the biggest complaint would be traffic driving past way too fast on that tiny little road That is not the host fault we witnessed the maintenance man almost get hit. Something needs to be done about that before somebody gets hurt, we definitely would like to stay again The area is beautiful maybe a more secluded cabin next time.

Last Minute Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay . The Cabin had everything we needed ! Great Area and lots to do ! Seneca Rocks is not far and Blackwater Falls State Park is beautiful . We also highly recommend the Town of Thomas, WV with its Galleries and Restaurants , what a Gem !!!

Loved the river front location

It was difficult to find the property and I later found that the unit number had recently been put on but no one told GPS! The amenities were great! We enjoyed grilling and using the hot tub. The biggest problem was that the toilet was in a closet that was just too small. The best things were the newness of the remodeling.

Nice place, but smelly

The room was perfect, just what I was looking for. It was small, but with a comfortable bed and a usable kitchen. The hot tub was nice, although it did not feel very private with people going in and out of the adjoining lodge. The main problem was the overpowering odor in the place. I could not pinpoint what the odor was or where it was coming from, but it was definitely overpowering. If the place didn't stink so badly I would give it an almost perfect rating, but the smell made it hard to be in the room.

Mountain getaway

Everything about this place was great! The room was awesome! The hot tub was relaxing! The front porch was the best!so relaxing to sit with and adult beverage and enjoy the sound of the river and watch lightning bugs at night. Couldn't have asked for anything more from a vacation spot.
