Did not use hot tub, did not go on second floor. Name changed? Thought it was still Buddy’s Bungalow. Been there many times over the years with children and grand children, this was for our 50th wedding anniversary! We did get to see some snow! Enjoyed the peace and quiet!

The cabin was so cozy! So comfortable with adorable Bear Theme in every room. The beds were extremely comfortable. I usually wake up a few times a night but not here! Slept like a baby. Wonderful outdoor area to enjoy. LOVED drinking coffee on the porch and listening to the creek.

Beautiful, clean and very relaxing! We loved the hot tub and the pool table. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need to stay in and cook all your meals. We loved our stay and hopefully will return soon.

I always have one suggestion. Once a month have a group of deep cleaning done. It should take all day. Too much dust accumulates. Window blinds and lamp shades. If curtains are fabric toss in dryer with a dryer sheet. Gets the dust out and smell fresh. Please don’t forget the cobwebs along top of ceilings and corners. I have dust allergies and spent most of my time sneezing. The cabin is very nice. Keep it clean and updated.

Buddy's Bungalow

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well cared for. Though there were other cabins nearby, it still gave a sense of seclusion. If you don't like farm animal sounds, this may not be the place for you. That was actually a highlight for us. We really enjoyed our stay. If there is one area I would mention for improvement, it's the cookware. It was in pretty bad shape, but that certainly wouldn't stop us from staying there again.

Relaxing

The house was nice. A small creek runs through it and was nice to sit by and have our coffee in the morning. We did see a bear by the side of the road....that was exciting. Used the hot tub a couple of times. That is always relaxing. The owners kept in touch to see if we needed anything but we didnt. There were roosters and goat next door but you got used to them. Its a nice place outside of Ellijay about 20min.

Has Everything You Need!

The only things that we had go out for were food and firewood! All essentials were provided, all four of our kids had space and loved every second in the “fairy garden” and creek.

Second time just as good as the first

We absolutely love this place. The hot tub near the stream. The beds are amazing. Kitchen is very well supplied. The fireplace is great (there is a local selling wood near the turn off the main road). We are planning our next trip already.

Perfect getaway

The house was exactly what we needed for our stay. It was very nice loved the rustic feel very clean and well stocked. We loved the screened porch and the outside patio area with the firepit. We definitely would rent it again.

Visiting Elijay with friends

Buddy's Bungalow was a great place to stay. About 20 minutes from Elijay, private location a little bit a out of the way but not bad. Jason and Erin were very nice to work with. Would stay there again.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin and property were unique, well maintained, relaxing and had everything we could need. The furniture was not cheap, as you find in some cabins. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bedrooms were large and had plenty of storage space. The hosts were very responsive and gracious. The only (small) issue I had was that when I was booking, for some reason the location was explained as within walking distance to the town of Ellijay. In hind-sight however, the actual location was beautiful and secluded and probably worked out for the best. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Quiet and Peaceful

If you are looking to get away, this cabin is perfect. Beds were comfy, all the amenities available, great WiFi, and plenty of outdoor spaces. The town of Ellijay is adorable and hiking in the area is wonderful with some amazing waterfalls and views.

Annual hiking trip with friends

What an adorable cabin tucked in a gorgeous rural community! Close enough to Ellijay proper and Blue Ridge for all the restaurants and hiking. The cabin was stocked with everything you could need. We made use of the hot tub every day after returning from our hike. Cabin is pet friendly but you wouldn’t know that except for the leashes by the door. Definitely recommend.

Vacation with friends

A quaint getaway in the mountains. Off the beat and path a great place to unwind and relax. We were able to relax in the hot tube, sit by the fire, cozy up on the screened in porch with a book and listen to the water in the creek. A perfect weekend or week getaway.

WOW! This cabin was amazing!

We rent average of 4 x a year and by far this cabin had everything we needed and more. I am a clean nut and was impressed how clean this home was. There wasn't a thing I needed to run out and get as this cabin had it all. It was 11 miles to downtown and 10 miles to the log home we are in the process of building. First trip into the area a little off the road but easy to find. On Waze so we got there no problem. You will not regret staying here. The home was so comfortable as we are 67 and 68 and everything on 1st floor so worked out great. The water babbling was great to sit outside and enjoy. I even loved the rooster next store, he was more of a guard dog then a rooster. LOL.. We will stay again as this home was CLEAN, well equipped and loved decor. ( I want that chandelier and will replace with another antler one). Don't walk, run for this one.
