I have to give this property a 5 STAR . Very clean and equipped as well as calming effect with the water flowing over the rocks in the river below. Something for all ages from game room,tubing or fishing right outside.The family time was excellent here. Already want to return and just left. Thanks for a great place to stay!!

Autumn Retreat

Such a lovely property that was everything we would ask for in a family retreat..saw a lot of deer and a few bears on the property and surrounding properties..the weather was great..close to everything we wanted to explore..would never hesitate to rent this property..this is our second stay

Fall trip

We enjoyed our stay at River Front Retreat very much! The accommodations are excellent. We had cool weather and spent a lot of time sitting around the campfire in the nice fire pit area where we rested in the comfortable chairs and listened to the river rapids.. The riverside is gorgeous. Side trips to Brasstown Bald and Anna Ruby falls were awesome!

We had an amazing stay here!! We rented the space to host a baby shower and have room for out of town guests to stay. Event went perfectly and Jacob met me at the property for check in to walk me through all the in home music options, how to work the pool waterfall, which fruit trees were in season and we could eat from and more!! The place is absolutely beautiful. My daughter and the other kids staying (age 6-10) said this was the coolest place they’ve been - peacocks, fresh fruit from the trees, pool time, running in the yard, putting green and hide and seek with all the space were just a handful of highlights!

Beautiful stay

This location is so gorgeous it makes you wonder why you live anywhere else. Cabin is so comfortable and our children adored the river. Great hiking nearby. Make sure you stop and get some boiled peanuts just up the road. Best stocked kitchen we have ever been in.

Spring tranquility

We enjoyed an early spring visit to this comfortable and well-appointed home. The river sounds provided a tranquil backdrop, and the outdoor areas were well organized. The location is within good distance to restaurants, wineries, and other sites; or just stay on the property and enjoy the environment. We would love to return.

Beautiful house and view

The property was beautiful and house very big. We really enjoyed walking down to the river and the view to the river. I have stayed at a different house every year and we will go back to this house again.

Amazing cabin

We all enjoyed the cabin. Kids loved having their on space downstairs away from the adults. Listening to the river was amazing too. Especially falling asleep to the sound of the river.

Amazing getaway with a beautiful view!

The home was wonderful and welcoming. We went to get away and relax as a family and could not have asked for more. The stairs are no joke but well worth it to relax in the water. The kitchen is very well stocked and spacious enough for everyone to gather. We look forward to going back next year.

A fun Family Getaway

This is a great property in Ellijay, GA. Close to downtown and all the nearby attractions you might be interested in. You can't beat the location right on the the river! The house is great with plenty of room for families to spread out. The game room with pool table and air hockey was fun, and the fire place and fire pit are a great to enjoy. A fun family getaway!

So good that I don't want to tell you about it

I rent 3 or 4 VRBO's per year and this one is one of the best ever if not the best. And if I tell you how great it is, it might not be available next time we want to enjoy perfection. Everything for cooking, playing games, lounging, watching TV, relaxing in the water, tubing right down the street, hot tub, BBQ, fire pit . . . It didn't take us long to realize we'd found the best rental in Ellijay. Thanks!
