This was a perfect comfortable house for our family getaway! It was well equipped with everything we needed. The owners are very responsive, nice people. We enjoyed hiking down to the babbling brook nearby, the fire pit, hot tub, the movie room etc. And the town of Ellijay is real gem!

Amazing!

Everything was perfect from location to responsiveness and enthusiasm of the host. Do the escape room! I can’t tell you enough that you won’t be disappointed. The cabin itself was super clean and well appointed and the resort has everything you’d need. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Summer escape

We really enjoyed getting away to the peace and quiet in Ellijay, it was a great escape from our busy lives in Florida. The cabin was clean and roomy and the location was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed some days in town exploring and some days just relaxing together in the cabin. My teenagers loved the movie room! It was a great stay and the hosts were great with communication!

Loved it!

I love all the decks the cabin had. I enjoyed sitting on them and having lunch. It was secluded from the other cabins which was great. There was a lot of deer to watch. Also a lot of amenities to enjoy.

Best house in the GA mountains

We had the best time! Everything was exactly as it was promised. The hot tub was perfect for the young adults and the movie room was such an added bonus for the whole family! Real movie seating with popcorn and hundreds of movies to choose from. That was such a cozy spot to relax after hiking all day! The hosts were always available if we needed anything! Truly, one of the best VRBO experiences ever!

Clean, beautiful home away from home!

We were looking for an escape from hurricane Helene. The home surpassed our expectations. It was clean, beautiful, had everything and more we needed and so spacious! The booking was easy, the hosts were amazing! We will definitely be back!

5 Stars Great Home

This is a cute cabin situated on a quiet road. We are a family of 5 (kids ages 9-14) and this was perfect. Everyone had enough space inside to play games and relax. The wildlife was beautiful. Deer, squirrels and fireflies. Owners are super responsive and provided help and suggestions. Restaurants, Walmart, Aldi, and Appalachian Beverage are about 15-20 mins away.

Spring Break vacation

The cabin was very nice, well equipped and plenty of room. Our property manager was excellent! We even had a scavenger hunt with a special prize for completing it which was very special. I would definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Clean and Cozy

Easy to connect with host, our adult children enjoyed the movie room, video games, and hot tub. It was also nice because they kind of had their own space on the second level. My husband and I enjoyed seeing all the deer and being eye level with many birds from the back porch. Thank you for a great stay, Andi!

A Getaway it is!

When we did our usual search for a fall vacation home, we narrowed it down to three. Gladstone Getaway won the debate between my wife and I and our two boys. Once entering through the secure gated entrance, it takes about another ten minutes to access the property. Great place! The owners, Bob & Andi are super friendly, very quick to respond and very welcoming. We love the house, There is so much to enjoy there, we just didn't have time to enjoy everything. With that in mind, we'll definitely be coming back. Loved the movie room, great spot for some football watching! Or movies... We like that the house is secluded and don't have to worry about traffic passing by, especially when the kids were outside playing.

Great Spot

Visited for Memorial Day weekend with some friends from college. It was a great pick for us (ages 28-33, no children, one dog—small reunion for friends who haven’t seen each other all at once in a few years), but it would be an excellent choice for a family as well. The cabin and surrounding property is well-maintained; there’s plenty of space both indoors and outdoors; and the kitchen is well-equipped and clean. Bob and Andi were proactively communicative, helpful, and courteous in helping us make our stay as full as possible. We’re very grateful for their hospitality, and we hope others have an opportunity to enjoy a stay at their cabin!

Beautiful mountain hideaway!

My family and I stayed in this beautiful cabin over Thanksgiving week to get away from the craziness of work and school. The cabin is secluded and very quiet. It was a wonderful place for our family of 5 to spend time together, but also allowed space to spread out. With 3 cozy bedrooms, 2 full baths and a beautiful theater room (with a popcorn maker!) we had plenty of space for everyone to find a little quiet time when needed. The kitchen was clean and very well stocked with cookware and quite a few pantry staples (basic spices, flour, sugar, etc). I was able to make a lovely Thanksgiving meal for my family and there were plenty of storage containers for the leftovers. Communication with the host was very good, they responded quickly to all of our questions and were very helpful with recommendations on places to visit while we were there. They even had a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to do in the cabin on a rainy day. I definitely recommend this cabin to any families looking for a quiet, comfortable getaway with a beautiful view. We will be back! 2 things to know/consider before you stay: the steps are very steep so if you have very young children you will need to take that into consideration. Also, there is no trash service at the cabin so you have to load all of the trash into your vehicle and drive it about 3-4 miles to the collection center, and pay a small fee for it. This was not terribly inconvenient but something to be aware of, especially if you don't like the idea of transporting garbage in your car.

We had such a relaxing fall break here! The kids loved the movie theater, hot tub, exploring the property, and seeing all the deer. The scavenger hunt was also a big hit. Andi and Bob were phenomenal host! We can’t wait to come back!

Great Weekend!

We had a 3 day weekend at the cabin to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The cabin is amazing. We enjoyed some great food in town, some amazing hikes to waterfalls, and a nice night by the fire. Quiet location with beautiful scenery.
