The property was fantastic and had everything we needed. We loved the screened in porch with the fireplace and the bed swing! When it was too cold or rainy, the downstairs was perfect for pool and darts. The location is great as well - I really enjoyed being able to see and hear the water, even when sitting on the porch. We have rented with Blue Sky since 2016 and have never had a bad experience. They are easy to get in touch with, even after hours, and the check-in/check-out process is very easy.

Beautiful Home in Ellijay

We really enjoyed our stay at Thistle and Trout. The property was clean and comfortable, providing us with everything we needed for the beginning of our trip. The rooms were large and comfortable, with space to be together or separate. The roads in and the driveway were a little scary the first few times, but we adapted quickly. We loved the views of the river and were even able to catch a few fish! The staff at the Blue Ridge Cabins office were so friendly and helpful! We would recommend Thistle and Trout to anyone looking for a stay in the Ellijay area.

We were not a big fan of the neighborhood.

We were not a big fan of the neighborhood. During our stay they were doing construction and it was really a pain going too and from town. I honestly wouldn’t rent in that neighborhood again. Some of the residences were also rude to my kids about fishing even though they were catching and releasing. The cabin was gorgeous….very homey and decorated great. I think we had everything we needed but maybe a pizza cutter… But the walking and driveway - and the roads getting to the cabin I really wasn’t a fan. We would stay with your company again though. Just at another location.

The cabin was beautiful and had peaceful surrounds. The game room and spa was an added bonus. However, the cleaning was not what we though it should be. There was other renters food left in the refrigerator and freezer. Also, in the master bath there was dirty diapers by the toilet. The staff was friendly and returned call promptly

Peaceful family getaway

We came up from Southwest Georgia and enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The house was beautiful and very spacious for our family of 6. The weather was perfect, and we are looking forward to returning soon.
