Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunroom, watch the local wildlife from the decks, or take a short, 3-minute stroll to Lake Michigan. With all the comforts of home and the tranquility of a forest retreat, this is the perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

    This property is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors and municipal restrictions, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, weddings, or other gatherings.



    Property is equipped with a decibel and smoking monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home.



    Please be aware that you must sign a terms and conditions agreement, which will be sent to you separately, to finalize your reservation.



    Other Things to Note:

    Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:

    - Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)

    - A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.

    - PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).



    Home Truths:

    - No garage on site

    - This property has well water. At times, you may notice sulfur smell in healthy well water. It is recommended you bring drinking water if you have any concerns with this system.

The location ended up being absolutely fantastic. We were worried about being so far north, but it ended up being a lot better than other locations we've stayed, which were south of Sister Bay. The house is beautiful with lots of comfortable chairs and couches to lounge after long hikes. It was really hot the week we visited, our bad luck, and the bedrooms do not have A/C so it got really warm in those rooms. I don't think that would be an issue during normal Door County weather, again just our bad luck. Showers were great, and having a washer/dryer was handy. Watching the birds at the feeders was a nice touch.

Home away from Home

Cozy yet spacious, immaculate - a very warm and inviting space, in a quiet, less traveled, part of the northern Door peninsula.

Relax amidst the trees

Beautiful and peaceful location surrounding by trees. Plenty of room to spread out both indoors and outdoors. Nicely decorated and well-furnished with just about everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

We loved this property. It is very private. It's off the beaten path, but many interesting features of Door County (Sister's Bay, Northpoint, Ephraim) were a short drive away.

Relaxing girls' weekend getaway

We had such a great stay! This property is so cute, and had all the amenities you need. The beds were comfortable, and the location is very quiet and relaxing. Arica is a very responsive, and all instructions from check in to check out were very clear.

Family Vacation

House was clean, extremely well stocked, and all the furniture and beds were very comfortable. Short walk to the lake, tucked back in the woods. Awesome spot.

Door County Annual Family Stay

Very clean and well stocked property. Decor is very pleasing and interesting; thoughtfully done. Furniture was very comfortable and plenty of seating for our group. Very quiet neighborhood and a good number of wildlife visitors. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Anniversary Trip

This was the perfect location for our home base during this Door County getaway. We brought our kayaks and found a easy access to the Mink River to paddle on a beautiful September morning. Hope we can return!

Marking our 50th Anniversary with Family and Friends

What a great house for our needs this particular week. We had plenty of room for all our family of five to enjoy each other and get away from each other as desired. Kitchen has every tool and dish and pan you could want for cooking for a group. Close to the bay and on the quiet side of the Peninsula. Would stay here again if the occasion arose.

A return to our favorite winter cabin

Our family has rented this cozy cabin for many years, and we hope to do so for many more. It is extremely well appointed with comfortable couches and beds. The kitchen far exceeds my kitchen at home. This is an exceptional home for any season, but we especially appreciate it during the quiet winter season when we bring out the puzzles and hot chocolate!

Second year ! Lovely home!

Our second time renting the vacation home and if we could would give 10 stars for owner helpfulness. Very well appointed And comfy kitchen and bird feeders and bed and baths. Any questions we had were answered quickly and effectively by Arica. Enjoyed our week very much! Thank you Arica!

Perfect Getaway!

This rental slept 6 adults comfortably. The home was well stocked. Peaceful and relaxing inside and out. We especially, liked the large table for meals and playing games. The sun room was the perfect place to do our puzzle too. We plan to return.

Wonderful get away and super cute cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay in Door County. We went for a fishing trip and the cabin was very welcoming to come back to. Had all the amenities we needed and enjoyed our stay very much. Cute cabin nestled in a very secluded and wooded neighborhood with great fireplace to sit around and visit with our friends. Wonderful host, very responsive and readily available. Will definitely be coming back!!

Anmiversary trip

Spent 4 days in Door County at this house. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary with our guys friends who were also celebrating their 40th anniversary. The house was well stocked, well decorated, and had all you could ask for in a vacation home. You'd love it.

Great home in a peaceful location

This house was perfect for our group of 6 adults. Clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location is very secluded in a quiet subdivision. Enjoyed walking to the lake every morning, and having coffee on the back sunken porch. We didn’t meet the owner Arica, but she checked in with us occasionally by email to make sure everything was OK. Had a wonderful getaway, we would definitely stay here again!

End of Summer Get Away

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with our adult daughters and their significant others at this cabin by Rowley's Bay. The tall trees surrounding the cabin make you feel like you are in the middle of the woods. It was wonderful sleeping with the windows open and hearing the wind blowing through the trees. We walked up to the dock by Rowley's Bay Resort and were fortunate enough to see northern lights. The cabin was clean and well provisioned - we would definitely recommend it!

Relaxing spot for enjoying the area

This was our second time staying here, and we enjoyed it as much as the first. We had four adults and two kids -- three generations. The home is comfortable and had everything we needed to cook meals regularly. We walked 5 minutes to the pier almost daily for fishing. It's a very peaceful location and convenient for exploring places like Sister Bay, Ephraim and Bailey's Harbor. We've already booked for next year.

Amazing Find in north Door County

From the moment we arrived, the entire family loved the house - even our teenage grandchildren exclaimed! We were very comfortable as the house has a warm, welcoming feeling. The kids enjoyed the sunroom area and we all enjoyed the living room and the deck for family time. The kitchen was well-appointed and had all the necessities to make meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and we slept well. Also, we appreciated being able to do laundry during our stay. We are hoping that next summer we are able to travel to Door County again and will definitely stay here if we return.

Relaxing get a way

We so enjoyed the property in the woods, we saw deer, squirrels, birds and chipmunks. The cabin in the woods had EVERYTHING in the cabin. The gas fireplace was so wonderful and the bathrooms and bedrooms were so spacious and clean with abundant amenities. The kitchen had everything that you could require to prepare meals and all of the cookware. The laundry had all the supplies needed. Such a perfect rustic spacious home!

Fantastic!

We loved this property! Spacious, open, comfortable furniture, clean, beautiful quiet setting, exactly as pictured. A well stocked kitchen, updated appliances, washer and dryer, comfortable beds/spacious rooms with plenty of storage, games, puzzles, movies, books, and extra blankets. Plenty of bathroom necessities. Above and beyond with information about the home as well as options during your stay. Everything we needed, at our fingertips. Responsive. We really enjoyed this part of Door County. So many options within the surrounding communities without the crowds/car traffic of lower D.C. We would highly recommend this booking! A marvelous stay enjoyed by the whole family.

Winter getaway

If you are looking for a peaceful comfortable getaway this rental is perfect. There were only two of us so we did not use the upstairs bedrooms. The master bedroom in main level bed was very comfortable. As is the whole house, fireplace, 4 season room. We were there for nature, snowshoeing, a few dinners and the area and home were perfect for that. Also visited the winter fest in fish creek, great hiking at Newport State Park, took a sleigh ride- it was great! We could have used another few days of it! Thank you to our host who stayed in easy contact- although we had no issues.

problems

TV was not working until the last day. Air conditioning ok for the first floor but not adequate for the second floor. Should be set at 78 not 80 prior to arrival in the summer. very long cycles on a small washer and dryer.
