Lost Lane is professionally cleaned between every stay. All bed linens and towels are provided and freshly laundered between every guest.

KITCHEN AND DINING

The kitchen has an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and ice maker, plus a toaster, water kettle, blender, immersion blender, food processor, mixer and crock pot. We provide pots and pans, baking dishes and sheet pans, dishes and flatware, and wine glasses, plus a KitchenAid drip coffee maker and coffee grinder with starter packs of Door County Coffee. Dine at the elegant dining table or take your meal out to the deck.

Other provided supplies include starter packs of Door County Coffee and filters, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, and dishwasher and laundry supplies. Body soap and shower gel, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, hangers and cleaning products are provided. A first aid kit, a power outage kit, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher are on site.



Guest Access:

Guests have the entire home, including the large deck, the backyard, the patios, the hot tub, the fire pit and the on-property walking trails (the entrance is near the driveway by the stone fence). Ample parking is available on the property.



The Neighborhood:

Lost Lane is in the charming town of Ellison Bay near the northern tip of Door County, with local shops, restaurants and scenic views nearby. The ferry to Washington Island is a short trip away for a day on the island, and local parks, beaches and walking trails are close by. The area is a dark-sky region, ideal for stargazing and the occasional glimpse of the northern lights.



Getting Around:

The property is easy to reach by car, with convenient access to local attractions and the Washington Island ferry. Park in the driveway or the parking spaces on the property.

Lost Lane is professionally managed by DoCo Vacations, a locally owned Door County vacation rental company. DoCo arranges professional cleaning between stays and handles guest communication and after-hours phone support for emergencies or any other questions. Our standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and our standard check-out time is 10:00 a.m.. Furniture and decor may differ from the photos.



•Please stay on the mowed trail paths and respect property line signs. We recommend bug spray and tick checks after walks, for people and pets.

•The property is served by an LP gas tank and septic system that occasionally need service visits; we'll do our best to let you know in advance.

•The home is in a wooded, rural setting. You may encounter mosquitoes, spiders and other insects.



Interaction with Guests:

We pride ourselves on creating a streamlined experience whenever and wherever possible. You'll check in with a keypad door lock. You'll receive all of your check-in instructions digitally, along with our digital guidebook of favorite Door County spots. Your stay is managed by the local DoCo Vacations team, so if you need anything, we're always a short phone call or message away.
