I REALLY hate giving a bad review BUT the room was not properly cleaned . It looked like it had not been Vacuumed , there was a Frozen Dinner in the Freezer that was not frozen because the Refrigerator was not working properly and there were baby cockroaches crawling in the tub and my Daughter had the Suite and found an unopened bottle of Metformin under the couch (and she has a 4 year old) We hate it because we stay there every year we go but next time we will be trying somewhere else 😔

The property was extremely dirty my room was dirty when i checked in.I was in town for a family reunion the hotel was sold out.My family had 5 rooms and we had to go to the store to buy cleaning products to clean the rooms before we could even bring our bags in.The hotel Manger was super unprofessional and customer service skills suck.I would not recommend this dirty place for no one to stay in.And the pool has been closed for 2 years straight during the reunion

Poor Service and Conditions
The hotel was not clean. My bed sheets looked nasty and has hair on it. The Tub was not clean at all. My family was separated and could not be accommodated to be on the same floor. My smoke detector was going off at 1am and when I called front desk there was no answer. I had to get up and proceed to front desk only to be told by an elderly woman there was nothing she could do about. She handed me some batteries and asked me to change the batteries. We were never informed if they had breakfast or not but from the looks of things all they had was cereal and coffee. There are no elevators and my mother struggled to get up and down the stairs. We selected this location because it was close for our family gathering but never again. I will stay in Laurel or Hattiesburg

Go somewhere else, I'm serious
The girl at the front desk when we checked in was precious and I appreciate her. I chose this place because it promised a pool and cable TV. I have 2 kids that are under 7 and I promised them swimming and TV because we have been stuck inside and 18wheeler since our house burned down. All I wanted to do was relax and let my problems rest for a minute and the kids were excited. We got in late around 11:30pm. Checked in and go upstairs to find the room was dirty because housekeeping had not cleaned it after the last guest left. Crumbs in the bed and trash here and there. Towels everywhere. Just overall crap. I ended up telling the lady working the desk that I would make the beds and clean the room myself so we would not have to get a smaller cramped room. The air conditioner had the carpet in the little bedroom part of the suite completely saturated and seaping with water so I had to go get a million towels to put down on the floor to try and dry it up but it didn't help much. The tvs had no channels and absolutely did not work and when I said something to them the next morning they would not come try to fix them. Then I saw a sign by the door that said the pool was closed until further notice. Not only that, the lady working the desk tells me to expect power to be off from 6am until 10 am for scheduled maintenance. Go back upstairs and it smelled like marijuana in the hall way. So I spent my two days of just trying to breathe and relax upset and kids I couldn't keep occupied

Good Hotel
Definitely worth saving money over more expensive hotels. The accomodations were good. Front desk did great checking me in. The only reason I didn't give them an EXCELLENT was because the ice machine was broken (and I wanted/needed ice) and the orange juice machine was broken as well. Do not stay here for breakfast, but the accomodations really are good! I would definitely stay here again!!

I understand about getting wait you pay for but even this hotel should be shut down! Musty, smokey smell in entire building, I did ask for room spray which they provided. The bathroom was not clean at all!! I had to ask for cleaning supplies to wipe urine off the toilet, seat and tank. Mold coming thru wallpaper in bathroom. So much dust in AC Vent we had to remove and clean filter for AC to get cold. Outdated rooms I get but cleanliness should be #1 priority. I brought everything to the attention of staff, the gentleman that was their the 1st night was supposed to be a manager and and passed the blame stating it is not on his normal working hours?

The TV was not functional. (No remote control and no functional replacement). The toilet did tank ran constantly unless one removed the lid and pulled the chain from under the flapper ball valve. This would be an easy fix, if attempted. Endurable for a one night stay. "Breakfast" was pretty minimal. The price was very affordable!

Shower curtain and shower had multiple areas of mildew. Commode was too small (low to the floor) and totally inoperative. The bathroom door wouldn't close - wasn't installed properly. Room was not tidy.

They gave me a handicap room and it wasn’t supposed to be. Then, they couldn’t move me because they were full. The television wouldn’t play in the room and the tub was dirty.

The carpet was wet in 3 rooms they tried to put us in. The tried to cover the moldy/mildew smell with air freshener. At first they said it was an A/C issue, but later had admitted it had been reported several times. Where it was located, it was obviously a pipe leak that was traveling.

Skip this place if you can.
From before check in to checkout this place was a dump. I called a few hours before checkin to see if early checkin was available the lady didn't even check just gave me a flat no, didn't even check or give a crappy lie. Just no. We prepaid for the room yet they still asked for our card and proceeded to charge us again for the room we already paid for. The checkin agent was polite but had no idea what she was doing. She was unable to process a refund and said the manager would have to do it. We just checked out and still no manager or refund on the double payment. Upon entering the room, went to close the curtains to rest and immediately saw mold around the window sill. Then went to the frige to put away my drinks, the fridge would barely close due to the entire "freezer" portion being a solid block of ice. Then turned around and noticed the smoke detector missing from the ceiling. We were staying in a so called 'smoking' room. Not what we would have chosen smoking but it was all that was available. The smell of trying to cover up the smoke smell was off-putting on top of the gross smoke smell. The toilet tank was also leaking on the floor. With so few opitions of places to stay in the area, I guess you don't have to try too hard. Also the pool was closed for no apparent reason. Employees need more training before being left alone to be in charge of an entire hotel and they could really use some cleaning and refreshing to make the stay pleasant at a minimum.

The inside of the facility including the room was as good or better that Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express that I have stayed in in Laurel. And at $75 per night, VERY inexpensive. However, main drawback is the black pool water. Staff said it has been that way for two years. REALLY??? Get some professionals to drain it, clean it and repair it if necessary.

The facility was clean. The location was great for easy access to the highway. The amenities were very disappointing. The room had no smoke alarm and the fire water sprinkler in the room was rusted and painted white. Anyone could tell the sprinkler probably didn't work. Both things are against Mississippi law for fire code for hotels. The phone in the room didnt work. It was no surprise that the coffee maker didnt work and when i asked for another one the night receptionist said tgey didnt have any . I asked for a extra pillow and the night receptionist said they didn't have any more due to supply chain problems. Looks like she could have taken one from a empty room was my thought. The morning came and i asked about the continental breakfast, she said they were waiting for it to arrive. It was 7am. She said more supply issues. We asked for a non-smoking room but the facility had smells of people smoking in nearby rooms. Overall, this rating was way over rated at 7.4 out of 10 according to expedia data.

It was very convenient- off the freeway enough where there wasn’t any noise but close enough to easily get on. Staff was very friendly. Room was big. But our room’s bathroom was very shabby and had dirty walls. Also the toilet ran every 5 minutes so we had to turn it off at night to sleep. Bathtub had bad stains- needed refinishing.
