“The quiet environment of Berkey's Jungle Paradise is outstanding. It was fantastic to relax in the hammock at the terrace. And the views from the accomodation is really stunning. If you like to walk many tourist facilities like the Trafalgar Falls and Wotten Waven are at relative short distance (30-40 minutes walk). Berkey is a very kind person willing to assist you at all times. So the place is higly recommended ”

The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner! The portions are generous!”

“The facilities were ok but the room that we stayed in had no ceiling covering the zinc roof which made sleeping during the nightly torrential rains extremely loud. The areas was relaxing and natural. ”

“A great place to stay. We just had a single night there before flying out of Dominica, but it was perfect. Nigel was very helpful and his dog Spice was gorgeous! We had a relaxing couple of beers and then some good food before an early night (as it was an early flight to Barbados).”

“Absolute stunning view and friendly staff. Rooms and property were clean and adequate - bonus having a fridge and water kettle in the room. So nice having the restaurant on site. Building certainly not high end and is old in need up updates - but it is clean and functional (as is the state of most properly on the island). Would go again :)”

“The rooms are beautiful! We loved the patio and the view. Gorgeous. The food on the first night was almost inedible: we sent back the mahi mahi (I think that's what it was) because it was so rock hard/overcooked that it wouldn't chew down. We then ordered the pizza: the dough was so soft and uncooked that we just ate the toppings. We then started simply eating away from the place. “Great location in the middle of down town Walking distance from everything in the city and very convenient to get a bus of taxi to go anywhere. The ladies at the front desk was very friendly and the building was secured with an on site security offficer”
