“The cabin was very spacious and comfortable for our group of 6. It was clean, well equipped and decorated nicely. Communication with owner from reservation, check in to check out was excellent. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere sitting on the back deck with the view of the mountains and wildlife walking by. The location was good for day trips to Yellowstone. Close to downtown Big Sky and activities. Would recommend this cabin to others. Also liked that is was pet friendly.”

“We 100%enjoyed our stay here. It was convenient to Gardiner and Yellowstone but far enough away from the main roads to feel remote. No WiFi or cell service can be a good thing! The schoolhouse was well appointed and very clean. We enjoyed learning about the history of the school! My husband commented several times about how he would definitely stay here again. I agree! ”

“Very comfortable and quiet, perfect after a long day in Yellowstone. The back patio with river view was really relaxing. Watching elk swim the river was a bonus! Kitchen well stocked with anything we could want. The ice coolers and bear spray was appreciated as well.”

“Clean and great for a short stay. If you are looking for a clean, COZY place to stay at night, this is a good choice. It is clean and comfortable with nice linens and a good shower. There is a regular picnic table to sit outside, but nothing for comfy lounging. It’s off a busy road, with traffic during the day, but fairly quiet at night. ”

“This is our second stay at the 406 cabins. It is quiet and very comfortable. Only complaint is we are spoiled to AC and the unit is in the front and bedroom is in the back so it does get warm in summer. I would suggest bringing a fan or two to help circulate the air. However a lot of properties in Yellowstone and Gardiner do not offer AC. The best thing is being able to walk to the Roosevelt Arch and restaurants. Literally a straight shot to the arch from the cabin and North Yellowstone...

“We had a great time at this location. Very close to the ski hill. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is very private and quiet and the view out of the back windows is beautiful. We saw a fox daily that came by, my kids would wait for the fox to come by everyday! There are walking paths in the back that we walked daily, there is even a sledding hill that my kids enjoyed a lot. Bob was very helpful and responsive as well. Can't say enough about...
