We Loved our stay in this beautiful cabin! It was spacious, clean & was stocked w/anything you could possibly need. The property was quiet, peaceful & had the best view of the stars at night. We loved exploring the area. Host was great with communication. A truly great place to escape & unwind!

This was a great location for all we planned on seeing in this section of Pennsylvania. The home was very clean and neat; roomy and nice design; had everything you would need to prepare meals; quiet and peaceful backyard. We saw an Eagle, a Blue Heron and a Kingfisher at the creek. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely visit again if we are back in the PA Wilds.

Beautifully decorated, so comfortable, kitchen great. Able to enjoy the beautiful grounds, pond, stream, exploring for wildlife. Stream was available for fishing, saw an eagle fly over and a 6-point buck run across stream to mention a few. Mountain view, deck great for am coffee and evening beverages!

This was a very beautiful home and a great place to come back to at the end of long day sightseeing and exploring the area. It was in middle of the different places we wanted to go. We even seen a glimse of the Northern Lights. We had a small issue that was immediately addressed by the home owner. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Hunt's Run Hideaway is a lovely place. It's in an area with dark skies (bortle 2 to astronomy folks) and has a nice creek running by the yard. We enjoyed walking in the creek and sitting on rocks. There were a pair of kingfisher birds that were present every time we went down there. We also saw red-tail hawks and a bald eagle (thanks for having bird identification books in the house). The house is in a valley, so we didn't see stars down to the horizon from the yard, but there were places within a half hour's drive with horizon views.

The place is great. Clean, modern, with great amenities inside and outside. The beds were comfortable and the place has a huge yard, a fire pit, a nice deck, and an easy path to the water. Emporium is charming and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. I'll stay again if my work or life brings me back.

Communication was great. The place was very clean and cozy. We felt like home. They had everything that we would ever think of( coffee and coffee marker, towels, cleaning supplies, shampoo,soap, a list of places u can visit. We had a very relaxing time and would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing stay

The house was in a good location, clean and well equipped, including the kitchen which made making meals very convenient. The back porch and patio were wonderful and where we spent most of our time watching the birds, butterflies, deer and watching the eagles in the creek. At night, the fire pit was great while we gazed at the stars listening to the bullfrogs in the pond. There were many aspects to enjoy at this property. Our only suggestion would be to restore the gardens to (what appears) to have been beautiful; as avid gardeners, we think this would enhance what is already a beautiful, relaxing space to the next level. We are looking forward to staying again in the future!

Great stay

This place is very relaxing, cozy and clean. Spent some time fishing and sitting on the porch playing cards and watching the dove that has a nest on the porch was hoping the baby dove would start flying before we left but didn't happen. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Family Thanksgiving

We have never stayed in a rental that was better stocked. We were able to host a large holiday meal comfortably and had everything we needed, plus some. The space was spotless and organized, instructions were clear. Beds were comfortable. We would love to stay here again! One helpful hint would be to screen shot the door code before arriving, in case of spotty cell service.

What a gem!

We absolutely LOVED this home! Everything was perfect, beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean! The location was perfect for us, not too remote but very quiet and peaceful. I really wanted to spend time in the lovely outside areas of this home but unfortunately it rained much of the time. The owners were easy to communicate with. Easy drive to Benezette. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

Great weekend

Went for a friends getaway. The reviews were impressive for this property and they did not lie. The details and comfort of the home was as described and better. The weather wasn’t on our side but we made the best of it. Such a lovely outside here.

Perfect Option

The house was immaculate and fully stocked with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. The location was quiet. The owners are the most accommodating I have rented from. The drive to Benezette was about 40 minutes but it’s an easy drive and gets you away from the crowds. The location is close to Emporium so you have options for dining that you won’t find in Benezette. We highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful property

Beautiful location, well taken care of property that is accurately described online. Communication and check in with owners was easy. The house has everything needed, well thought out instructions and communications made our long weekend trip easy and relaxing. Our kids loved the bunk beds and playing with the various games and in the creek!

Perfect getaway

The photos of the property do not do it justice. The home is beautifully put together and it is spotless! The kitchen is fully stocked to satisfy a seasoned chef, although we utilized the propane Weber grill most. Sitting on the back patio is relaxing, while my grandchildren enjoyed the creek. The hosts have provided a binder with the most thorough explanation of a property I have ever experienced along with local restaurant menus to snowmobile guides! I would not hesitate to book again!

Wonderful stay!

Out of all the different short term rentals I have stayed in this one was top of the list. The owners of the property have put forth a lot of effort to insure you have a good stay. They have extra toiletries in the bathrooms as well as a very informative guide book for the property and surrounding area. The home itself is very well kept and the property feels very peaceful and private. Definitely will be returning again in the future!
