“We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.”

“We had a lovely lunch at the bar when we arrived. The lovely young man checked us in to the hotel and showed us to the family room. This was really nice as there were two rooms. One with a double bed and the other two singles. The bathroom was very spacious. So clean. Lots of towels. Also there was a kettle in each room. With plenty of items. Bottles of water in each room. Our stay was very comfortable. We were given keys for the front door as we were out late.”

“We were excited for our stay as working mums some precious time for R&R was much anticipated. The listing on Arbo looked great … nice setting & a hot tub over looking fields was the tranquil getaway we had in mind. However When we arrived we found the hot tun had not been cleaned (like & mud & hair). Also the temperature was.not hot.The accommodation wa dirty.. cups that were dirty with lisp it marked, shower not cleaned properly & bin dirty too. Worktops also dirty. The response to get it all...

“It was very nice, the stairs need to be fixed as look like the are rotting also so would not use them, hot tub bar to pull back cover screw loose and kept falling off. Shower needs sorting out as squirts everywhere concerned that could get hair dryer wet so would not use. Floor gets wet everywhere in the bathroom due to the shower head. Other than that very comfortable clean very relaxing. ”

“We had a fabulous week in this lovely cottage. Booking and check in went smoothly and queries answered quickly. Cottage location excellent (parking for 2 cars only on forecourt as narrow lane). Accommodation stylish and quirky. Some rooms a little on the small side but beautifully furnished and a lot of thought has gone into this home. We had 6 adults and 2 young children and everyone had a great stay.”
