The Pelican cottage at Manasota Beach Club was a little slice of heaven. A quaint little cottage from a simpler time, this was exactly what was needed for a calm, relaxing trip. Check-in couldn’t have been easier, as simple as reading an email. The cottage was clean and comfortable, exactly as listed and described. The two most important questions - was the bed comfortable and how was the water pressure? From someone who doesn’t sleep well in a strange bed, this bed was a dream. Slept through the night our entire trip. And the water pressure in the shower was perfect. Strong enough to feel soothing without stripping skin. There were several other people at the resort but it felt like we were alone in this little haven. The only sound was the wind and the waves. The beach is semi-private to the best of my knowledge and we had a huge piece to ourselves. We are already talking about the next opportunity to visit and are looking forward to returning to Manasota Key and the Manasota Beach Club.
