“Right in the centre of town. Close to Elizabeth mall. Just love the location! Staff lovely, nothing is a problem. Room cleaned everyday.”

“James was very responsive throughout the whole process, and the property location allowed us to walk to the Taste of Tasmania festival and the Salamanca market. It is also easy to get to the various memorials and open spaces along the harbor. Great spot.”

“Great house, very central and was exactly as advertised”

“Bit confusing with the check in process as did not email available at the time and no idea of how to access lock box etc. Finally found on my phone but not an easy process! Would prefer details to be sent to phone and not email as such.....”

“Well furnished spacious rooms, kitchen had everything we needed, great views and lovely neighbourhood. Only downside is no off street parking but that’s not unusual in Battery Point! Would happily book again the next time we’re in Hobart.”

“Excellent accommodation in great location on the Derwent river. ”

“A beautiful cottage in easy walking distance of Battery Point and Salamanca Market. It was quiet at night but also only a short walk to a supermarket. We’d love to stay longer next time. We loved the open plan kitchen living area with all the amenities you could ever need.”

“Cheap and cheerful, very eclectic (which suits me). The staff were lovely and helpful. Microwave in the room was great so we could make good coffees in the morning.”

“Our second visit here and it's never long enough. Already booking the next trip. Incredible night sleep with the sounds of the waves just outside the window. The host is fantastic to communicate with. This cottage is quickly becoming our little home away from home - if we need to go to Hobart, I will immediately look to see if Opossum Bay is available.”

“Great location and generous breakfast. Lovely property”

“Did not look at the view. Front door lock requires attention- hard to open. ”
