“What a surprise we found at the Athenaeum, a grand hotel from the 19th century, on beautiful Lake Chatauqua. On arrival, we found ourselves entering a gated community spread along the lake shore, with wonderful 19th and 20th century summer homes, within walking distance of the hotel. “Clean room. Comfortable bed. Walk in closet. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot & a small sink in the room perfect to clean up any dishes. Clean bathroom & large room. The man at the front desk was so nice. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area. ”
