“The property had more than enough space for my family of 6 adults. It was peaceful, minus the occasional train, with plenty to do. My adult kids loved the game room while my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. It is just a short drive to town, but we did everything from grilling on the deck to playing a rowdy card game around the large table with friends. Beds were comfortable and Kara’s home was clean. We hope to stay with her again in the fall. ”

“We had a lovely visit for the Frazer-Johnson wedding at the barn. The kitchen was well appointed for making breakfast. The porch swing with a river view was a serene spot for morning coffee. “This is an amazing place to stay with great views and a beautiful neighborhood to walk around. I would say the only thing to make sure you do is read the entire listing and make sure you read about the pet rules. Although, this place states to be pet friendly, it is not a pet friendly place for people with animals that are part of the family. “The Pine House was everything we hoped! We hosted my best friends batchelloret here for the weekend and it was perfect! Plenty of space for 10 people, fully stocked kitchen - all we had to do was get the food! The pool was clean and the furniture around it gave everyone a space to be comfy. The hot tub was a must and the fire was easier to start. The house cooled down quick and stayed cold! We will absolutely be back!”

“River’s Edge was perfect for our trip. We spent the week at a golf tournament at TPC Deere Run and this location was great. The house is very clean and inviting. The deck was amazing! We had rain a few days during our stay, so the covered deck, view and fire pit were perfect. Highly recommend this location and will definitely be back for any future trips. ”

An easy walk to shops and dining, the cottage is in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely deck.
