“For business, the hotel was fine. There was nothing exceptional about it. The rooms were relatively spartan. I had two twin beds, although I requested just one. I had also requested a nice view, but was given a view of the parking lot. One thing that bothered me quite a bit was the fact that many services typically rendered by hotels were missing - for example, I asked for an ironing board and iron and was told that there was a laundry service, but I could not iron my clothes myself. “The room was nice and clean; the owner seemed a little put out at first because Expedia had overbooked us and she didn’t seem to happy. When we asked her about coffee in the morning she looked at us like we’d lost our mind! It all turned out fine and she had coffee for us in the morning for a small charge. The hotel is beautiful and I wonder what the spa services would be like. We weren’t given any options to utilize them.”
